its amazing how much ppl can manage to bitch over some cell phone taken pics of a broschure..
its like its almost is set in stone that the car sucks and is bound to fail

come on guys get a grip atleast to the 19th when we will se officall pics..
im sure some of you will bitch still..but it looks better then than now..haha

I don't think the Star Grill will remain on a sedan, it will be too confusing for the old time Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts.

I don't know who said it would fail but I am sure as hell not doubting that it will sell like hot cakes, and i think the exterior looks very very nice, but I will wait to see more interior shots. Cmon Artist do you honestly like the way the interior looks so far?

It will be on the C class for sure, and it looks like it will be the grill for the sport model. I personally don't like it and hope they don't apply to all sedans.

And this is why I believe Mercedes didn't go all out with the new interior, because they know it's going to sell regardless!

Same can be said for the 3 series. I have sat in plenty of them, and just because it has an extra strip of wood doesn't make it a better quality interior. BMW uses extensive plastic, i just happens to be beige and black in the pictures shown. The strip of wood I have found on several cars to be loose.

To those people who expected an S class interior on a $30,000 car were being highly unrealistic. The reason the S is $100,000 is because of the materials used in the interior and technology.

I don't think BMW buyer's are overly concerned with interior layout as much as Audi and Mercedes owners. I hold Mercedes to the highest standard when it comes to interior layout. Come on now, if we removed the Mercedes decals and asked are fellow members which car company do you think this interior came from, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who would say Mercedes!

I think a lot of us aren't even talking about quality. Like I said before, although the quality is probably top notch (just going from what other MB interiors have been lately), the design of the dash is just off to a lot of us. There is just too much of that black dash. Not a lot of people can say that they will prefer that to other options such as wood or alu. And the fact that the pics are bad quality isn't going to change that.

ok the car looks good on the outside but the interior is horrible cant make it worst. Even a b-class has a better interior!!!!!!

my current 2005 facelifted W203 C180 SC interior great than this.Believe me Current C Class has genuine interior.

I Tthink No need such a big info display in the car.

Im sure many of you will be saying different once the pics are released, i for one am guilty of that on other cars, like the MB CL550.

Hated the pre-official-released pics, LOVED it in actual pics, let alone in person.

Exactly!

Many here are saying that they need to wait for official pics and even seeing it in real life to really judge the interior. I'm sure that the new C-class will have great quality (both in terms of materials and also build quality), but to me it doesn't have a great design.

The large overflowing black plastic seems like MB got a bit lazy (or were too cost-focused), the rectangle-shaped centre console is rather disappointing for a C-class. Yes you'd expect such a simple design for something like the A or B-Class, but this is the C-class which is a step-up from the A/B classes.

Some here have said the interior is kinda 'American-ish', I kind of agree now after looking at interior shots of some recent American cars.

Chevrolet Cobalt


Pontiac G5

Honda Pilot


All of these interiors have that rectangle centre-console design. Ofcourse you'd expect that the C-class interior is of a higher quality, but it's on the same standard in terms of actual design.

Maybe that's exactly what MB were aiming at.. to make the C-class more American-ized so as to tackle the 3er and Lexus IS in the US market... who knows?
