F80 Ferrari F80

The Ferrari F80 (Type F250) is a limited production mid-engine, hybrid sports car. Designed and named to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the company, it serves as a successor to the LaFerrari. Production: 2025-2027.
I am feeling the same as @Jonathan19 this car doesn't excite me in the same manner its predecessors did. The styling although evokes some influence from the F40& possibly F50 and some Ferrari racing cars looks too fussy and odd from some angles.
It's common to be biased towards the cars you saw most when you were in your tens or 20s. Take the SL Gullwing. Gorgeous! However Gen X and Millenials won't be nostalgic about it the same way baby boomers were.

I wouldn't generalize; feeling nostalgia, which we all feel, is one thing, but for some people to develop a biased preference for it is quite another. That's more a sign of being closed-minded and lacking the ability to appreciate new things simply because "it's not from my time."

It's normal human behaviour. Our comfort zone is things we know and love. Often, all you need is time. It can take a few weeks, months or years to adjust to something new.

My brain couldn't comprehend the 12 clidnri but now I love it for what it is. Not my favorite car Ferrari or anything I can consider "beautiful" but it visually hits a unique spot that other cars don't.

It’s all about emotion rather than reason; we tend to prefer things that others don’t like, as we say in my country "C'est la vie".

It's that goddamn dumb hybrid drive and pathetic V6

Completely uninteresting. Will age like f#cking milk.

personally i still prefer the LaFerrari, there are definitely elements that i like about it like the aero-focused philosophy and Ferrari finally adopting a fully movable wing, but it doesn't blend together as well as the LaFerrari

Yay purple! I think one of the rarest F80 will be Rosso Corsa and Crema. However it’s fun that we will see lots of wild specs compared to majority red lags, enzo etc.

Ferrari will encourage wild specs because margins on selling paints is huuuuuuuuge. Like €100-150k extra just in paints and leather dyes.

track-only exhaust system

The description is not fooling anybody. This will be used on public roads exclusively.

I suspect the kind of a rare client who would track an F80 understands that having quiet exhaust is a benefit for attending track days. Besides, they probably already have a dedicated XX or Modificata Ferrari track toy.

Its is a bit extreme remove cats and silencers. That will be super loud. Sure it's says track only but owners might want more noise but not too much om public roads.

Why not offer smaller cats like 700-800 cell?

Novitec already work on two system for the road.

We can always ask Mat Armstrong to just drill everything out brute force like he's done with the Chiron
This works for some cars. For others, the tone isn’t great. Either way there will be an f80 novitec exhaust. They did a fab job with the SP3. The exhaust is louder but not obnoxious like the 812 but also very true to character for the SP3.

Yeah it sure didn't work on the Bugatti.
