Yay! it's out and about! can someone tell me what's so diff't on the US C-class from the Euro-spec one? I can't tell...![]()

BMW interiors have a sense of belonging..for example, the 3 er looks quite similar to a 5 er and then a 7 er...check out a 6 er and you will see the same design philosophy. That is what we call branding.. For example, cover a BMW dash completely with plastic but keep that same interior design and you will immediately know its a BMW.
Can't say the same for Mercedes. Somewhere down the line they lost their way..Check out an S call and a CL and you will see class. Check out an A class, R class, C class and you will see that it doesn't represent the S, CL or even each other. If there was no 3 pointed star on a Merc C class dash, you can easily mistake it for a Daewoo or a Chevrolet...
Can't say I disagree with that. But then, interiors which don't remind you of its sisters and brothers have their merits too.
the rear without the BMW badge can also be mistaken by some Korean or other rising sun land brand).
Maybe next week. This thread had officially become TOO LONG.

Sure wish I could take factory delivery on this one.
