Congrats on the car! Looks amazing!
How do you describe it? I'm really curious to hear your impression on the driving dynamics.
Is it agile? Does it feel heavy? Planted? How is it to drive?

^ MB Passion was driving that one, not me. Maybe SLS12C can do a review for us? :)

Finally got my S63 Coupe 2 days ago!
I love it!

Here are some crappy cell phone pics. Proper photoshoot to come once the new wheels and brabus suspension module come in!

I'm really looking forward to hearing how an actual owner feels with it everyday. Not just an auto critic that drives it only a few hours for a review!
So come on SLS12C! :wthumb:

Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe by Mansory packs a mighty 900 PS punch

Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe by Mansory

Torque limited to 1,300 Nm
Mansory is introducing their latest upgrade package for the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe.

Known for their outrageous body kits, Mansory decided to play it safe this time and prepared a rather appealing styling customization for the S63 AMG Coupe. All the new aftermarket body parts are made from carbon fiber and have been matched with fresh alloy wheels and a revised interior cabin.

Most of the work has been done underneath the hood where the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine has been upgraded from the series 585 PS (430 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) to no less than 900 PS (662 kW) at 5,700 rpm and an electronically-capped torque of 1,300 Nm (960 lb-ft) between 1,600 rpm and 5,700 rpm.

After the massive power bump is implemented, the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe will sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in just 3.3 seconds (0.6s quicker than standard 4MATIC version) before topping out at an electronically-limited 186 mph (300 km/h) whereas the stock version is governed to 155 mph (250 km/h).

If the output hike is just too much, Mansory also has a lesser package which lifts the engine's power to 720 PS (530 kW) and 1,100 Nm (812 lb-ft). These power hikes were obtained by installing custom connecting rods, crankshaft, turbochargers, pipe fan manifolds and suction and compressor system while some of the other standard parts have been replaced.

The styling was not so bad after all, need to tone down abit.

I agree.

Drop the exaggerated scooped sills, front fender vents and "tone down" the front and rear just a tad, and it would be quite attractive. The large rims and fender flares accentuate the cars' exterior nicely, giving it just that little bit of added athleticism.

...actually, it is especially the rear fender flares that reduce the flank mass that makes the C217 look a bit ungainly from certain angles. They (of course along with the front fender flares) would be a splendid addition to an otherwise gorgeous automobile.

I have seen quite a few of the S- coupes and somehow they don't evoke the kind of excitement that the last 4 generations of CLs evoke; not sure why... something about these cars seems a little off.
