S-Class W223 [Official] Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W223)

The Mercedes-Benz W223 is the seventh generation of the S‑Class full-size luxury sedan, produced by Mercedes-Benz since 2020. It replaces the W222 S‑Class which had been produced since 2013.

So sad we are not getting the S63 down under. The 'Official' line is that MB Australia could not make a business case for the ADR compliance, which is of course total BS when they decided to offer the crappy EQS53 instead. That will sell in even fewer numbers. It's just a case of MB Germany and Australia trying to force EV production on to our market. The dealerships all have multiple EQ sedan's so chose from. At least the SUV's seem to be moving.

The hybrid system makes a little more sense in this car. Seems it’s a riot to drive.

I’d be afraid to drive a near 3 ton monster with that big a foot print fast. Unless you have terrific car control, this is a disaster waiting to happen…. The only positive thing I can say about it’s driving experience is that it can’t be as scary as the hummer EV… 1000 hp EV doing 60 in 3s and weighing as much as the moon…. What were they thinking!?!?!

Resectfully that is just hyperbolic nonsense imo. You think a lightweight car with a lot of power is somehow safer to drive fast? Powerful cars and SUVs all over the world are a disaster waiting to happen in the wrong hands. How many small, lightweight exotics do we see wrapped around a tree? Lots.

People also tend to overestimate their driving capabilities in small lightweight sports cars.

Also small and light + power = dangerous speed.

Hallo from Germany,
just received my W223 in the Manufaktur paint Vintage Blue (in other markets this is called China Blue) with complete Manufaktur Interieur in Mokka Leather. Love the car in this style :-)

Completed the Manufaktur look&style with the 20" Maybach alloys, which do fit nicely the chrome appliqués of the Exclusive/Manufaktur package.

Now looking for many km to come !

unfortunately only in German

For the English people:

Elegance and luxury in uni (non metallic) vintage blue from Mercedes-Benz
Experience the exclusive uni vintage blue paint from Mercedes-Benz. This bright, soft shade of blue combines classic style with modern design, sets new standards for aesthetics, and transforms every model into a masterpiece.

Cool color my man. Congrats!

Wow, that's an amazing color @shakti o_O

I've never ever seen one of those vintage colors on any current car (besides retro stuff like Fiat 500)
Huge congratulations on your bold choice!

I love the combination of colors, the Manufaktur Vintage Blue with the Mocca brown Manufaktur leather, the high velour brown leather Keder floor mats with Mercedes star stitching. The Mercedes Star can be seen again on the head restraints cushions .

If you open the front doors at night, the Mercedes star is illuminated to the ground, nice effect.
Followed than by the illuminated Mercedes Benz logo on the scuff plates.

In standard Manufaktur Leather spec the steering wheel would have the same brown leather of the seats, as one tone or as 2tone with black. I have chosen for the steering wheel the same dark leather color as used on the upper side of the instrument panel.

To get a more flat and harmonic appeal on the top side of the instrument panel, I ordered no heads up display, so no dark box behind the steering wheel, no dark box reflections in the windscreen.

As you can read, I am still fascinated by this particular S-class :-)

Very nice spec and unusual colour, congratulations @shakti. You must be enjoying the soft comfortable seats and beautiful smooth sound of the inline 6.
