y disrespectful, coz its nonsens, when the w221 came out they justified the wheelhouses, they justified the design, now its ugly?
the w221 had the same chromeline above the doors, one piece - is this guy selling me the same thing 2 times? oh well look at the rear light u can see 3 bars.... rofl
and when the car approaches on the german autobahn, you can definitly see its a s-class, bullshit, it looks like a b-class, and with daylight off it looks like a w220...
so elegant blah only this car blah... how ? and btw its not his own work.

Haha, in your dreams. The S class is a fine car for people who like the 'Benz way'. I don't like the Benz way much, and after having sat in the new S class finally, I can safely say it's not my cup of tea at all. But I can see the Benz gang liking it, sure. It's a tripple A car after all.

gonna order 2 w222 350 bluetec diesel lwb this november for my limoservice, so i m not a hater.
i m pretty sure that i drove more kms in w221 than any of you, repaired more of them, lied under them, and slept in them.

its a lovely car.

The funny thing is that I used to believe the same (design(ers) is/are overrated, until I sat down with a designer and heard him explaining me, how this all works. Then I understood that I was just ignorant and stubborn all this time, and design actually matters - it's more than just fancy words. And mind that this comes from an engineer! ( )

1. Saying I have "car x" doesn't mean anything. Just claiming or writing something doesn't mean it's true. If you want people to believe you without posting any proof first, you gotta build a reputation here first, and mind that most active members have known each other for many, many years.

2. This "I am better than you" mentality (bold part) is both quite rude and quite unwelcome. Mind your manners if you want people to take you seriously.

You might have noticed that GCF is a colourfull community. We've got members that are actually designers, engineers, racing drivers, driving and/or car enthusiasts and yes, fanboys. Each and every of us, though, is here to have fun, driven by his/her passion for cars. I drove over 450.000 kilometers in my two W221. So don't be too sure

Check out this video on 222's parking assist... Likely taken during press junket in Toronto, happens to be a Thai journalist, I believe...
Don't know if I will ever use this feature though, I don't think I would ever trust it completely... Would worry about going over the curb or gouging the side of the car...
