That's an older test I think, Auto Zeitung just published a new one.
Indeed, I was only speaking about the current model W222. In the W221, this was not the case. The free space did not bother me at all. However with the old W221 without AMG packet, I often have the impression that large rims tend to come out of the car. When you are behind such a W221, it seems to me that the wheels are too big for the car and the car is somehow lifted. This is no longer the case in the new model with or without AMG packet.I think he meant just this generation, not previous. My current S class has the 5 spokes on it, and it looks great.

These are the rendering of forth coming Pullman revealed by worldcarfans.com.
Does anyone think the new Pullman could look like this. If yes, among both of these which could possibly be the door/window design.
If not, how do you think it could look like.

How come the extra long wheel base version has three horizontal slots in the grill while the "regular" w222 S class has 4 slots in the grill. Shouldn't the longer car suppose to have more chrome and bigger grill?
Some more photos of S-class at IAA 2013 from my personal album
MB Passion posted some pics from the S-Class intro in Shanghai.
