The Mercedes-Benz GLS, formerly Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, is a full-size luxury crossover SUV produced by Mercedes-Benz since 2006. The GLS is considered the flagship of the marque's SUV lineup, although the body-on-frame G-Class (originally intended for military off-roading but also offered in luxurious trims) is more expensive and has been in production longer.

Interesting- this one does have the lines through through the sensor.
If I’m not mistaken, the press photo car appears to be a LIDAR scanner vs regular Distronic on this car. Due current regulations, I doubt many GLS’ will be equipped with the former.
Back in the day, this would’ve premiered at the NY Auto Show in grand fashion. Now the show has been reduced to an off-brand and electric car showcase.

Maybach has a strong Louis Vuitton vibe with the logos in the vents. And the size of the rims of the Maybach in the stadium looks to be like 23" at least...... Not bad looking at all (but those monoblocks are the rims to have IMO).

Looks as tacky as an LV purse. It's impossible to take these luxury brands seriously anymore.This approach is much better than the previous fly net that was totally out of place. The theme of the logos gives it that Louis Vuitton touch that @klier mentioned before.
The new grill of the normal GLS, with those 4 thicker matte bars, suits it very well
I think the same, it's better than before, but it's not my thing, before it looked bad, now a little stuffy, the normal GLS with its cleaner and more imposing front with the star in the middle is how it should be

A number of changes in design, technology and equipment take the comfort, connectivity and ambience of the large SUV series to the next level.
With their generous exterior dimensions, the SUV models offer interior space for up to seven passengers in three rows of seats. The updated Mercedes-Benz GLS will be available to European sales partners from the end of October 2023; in the USA, the market launch will start in mid-September.
Mercedes-Benz GLS: visual enhancement and functional off-road details
The latest Mercedes-Benz GLS can be recognized by the even more striking radiator grille. The four blades are galvanized in high-quality Silver Shadow. The bumper is also visually more present. Integrated are side air intake grilles, combined with a frame in high-gloss black. The large-area optical under-protection (standard equipment) has also been redesigned. The eye-catcher at the rear is the inner workings of the luminaires with three horizontal blocks. A new 20-inch light-alloy wheel in multi-spoke design, polished in Himalayan grey completes the wheel range.

All-wheel drive and a gear ratio designed for tractive force enable a high towing capacity of up to 3.5 tonnes and a vertical load of up to 140 kg. The towbar has two additional bolts on the ball neck, on which a suitable bicycle carrier can be supported. Its payload is 100 kg – so e-bikes can also be taken along.
Helpful additional equipment for train operation is the trailer shunting assistant, the updated trailer menu in the central display and the trailer route planner. It can be used to find routes optimized for trailer driving.
