Thoughts:

-Wrong launch color
-The dash looks the exact same as the other GLS models. This was a mistake imo; there should've been some unique trim.
-Love the rear seat accomodations

Overall it's OK. Definitely interested to hear about any unique features tomorrow.

Yeah the dash should have been different somehow. It will look better in other colors as I'm seeing now. Can you tell me if it has the V12?

A webpage from Croatia had an article about the new Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, which was removed very quickly from their webpage

There was no mention about a V12, but they said that this vehicle is powered by a 4.0L V8
with 550 hp(558 ps) and 730 nm torque(538 lb⋅ft) + the 48V electrical system that adds 21 hp(22 ps) and 250 nm torque(184 lb ft).

According to the latest specific Maybach concepts presented, at some point there was the idea of leading the brand towards stylistic independence, but with all the financial blows that are being suffered, it seems that this idea went to hell.

In the Maybach S-Class this segment elevation is better achieved, here, at least on the outside, not so much (the interior on the other hand is wonderful)

^ MB may have learnt something from the previous Maybach? :)

QUOTE
The previous Maybach was produced in a dedicated assembly hall, which increased the sales volume needed to cover Daimler's capital investments. But in its years on the market, sales totaled only about 3,200 cars.

For the new Maybach line, Mercedes is under much less pressure to hit volume targets, Storp said. "If the market asks for 100 [Maybachs], we will make 100," he said. "If demand is 1,000, we will make that."

I’m just the opposite lol. I think they work well on this beast lol.

The GLS has one issue, the front wheels are just too close to the front doors, FWD style. It nearly kills the look no matter what the trim/engine is.
