Wonder how the 580 and 600 coexist in the market?A webpage from Croatia had an article about the new Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, which was removed very quickly from their webpage
There was no mention about a V12, but they said that this vehicle is powered by a 4.0L V8
with 550 hp(558 ps) and 730 nm torque(538 lb⋅ft) + the 48V electrical system that adds 21 hp(22 ps) and 250 nm torque(184 lb ft).[...

Looks like the 3rd row seats were eliminated for the extra room at the rear.
Good, because the 3rd row is utterly useless in all these cars: GLE, X5, GLS and X7. And with utterly useless I am not even kidding. There is no point in having these seats. It's cramped like hell.
I prefer them in silver rather than black and I think they suit this vehicle well. The multi spoke wheels on the Maybach GLS are brilliant and totally in a different league to the monoblock for looks. This GLS 63 does look suitably mean as hell.I love these wheels on the AMG GT 4-door, but cannot handle them on the GLS.

The 600 has 50kw more power and 30nm more torque than the 580 and it fills the gap nicely between the 580 and AMG 63 in terms of power. Mercedes have played their cards perfectly with these 2 top line models. Rich folks now have a great choice with either the super luxurious Maybach GLS 600 and the super fast and sporty AMG 63Wonder how the 580 and 600 coexist in the market?
