Great attention is paid to the gigantic wheels - test car was equipped with a 21 inch diameter wheels! Yeah, like pizza for two. On this car is all tremendously. Interior

As is usual nowadays, the cars get the style of other models of the same brand. Such is the case for GLE Coupe, we can say that we are well-known for its interior. The concept cabin is similar to the GLE or its predecessor, the ML. Novelty is a display Command Online multimedia system, which is on top of the center console and the command Touch to control it, which is located on the central tunnel. Command system is intuitive and easy to use - it deserves all the praise. The trunk is large and offers a large flat surface. Line loading area is flat with the edge of the bumper, making it easier to load luggage, although the level of the trunk at a slightly higher height (91 centimeters). Of course, the manipulation of the tailgate is fully electric, so in terms of driving in the rain, you do not have to tinker hands to open the trunk, it is sufficient to press the button on the "key". When folded down rear seat backrests, obtained above-average long flat surface (1.8 meters!). Base trunk volume is 650 liters, and when the rear seat backrests sets, growing at a respectable 1,720 liters.

If you need something to criticize, it is transparent to the rear of the car, but it is the fate of all SUV models who want to be compartments. The roof line is sloping towards the back, resulting in a wide C-pillars and small glass surfaces. All praise Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe deserves the space that offers rear passengers. Although this SUV with a coupé-like silhouette, rear-seat passengers enjoy all the conveniences. Coupe offers only 350d, behind whose mark hides the 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo diesel engine, maximum power of 190 kW and maximum torque of 620 Nm. Transmission is something special - nine-9G-Tronic, through which the torque is sent to all four wheels.

Immediately after the engine starts, we noticed its refinement. Vibrations in the neutral mode, simply do not exist, the engine works perfectly harmonious and quiet. When driving, gives the impression of a powerful ally, which will without any problems out of every situation also. The elasticity is high, thanks to a high-speed gearbox, the engine quickly responds to the throttle control. When GLE 350d Coupe is simply impossible to comment on motor without transmission, because this is a perfect blend. Transmission in the normal driving mode always chooses the highest possible gear, sometimes on the verge of 1,000 r / min. There were also comments laity, such as: "What will his nine gears? It's just for the highway?" However, the truth is quite different. Driving along the Ibar highway, with light foot on the gas, transmission is quickly reached the ninth gear and keep the engine speed at the level of about 1,100 r / min, and the speed was about 80 km / h. The GLE and GLE coupe are MB's least desirable SUV's plain ugly inside and out. Hope they step up their game in the next iterations. To think they were the first to introduce a luxury sport suv is a shame to what they do now.

GLE Coupe has the same idea as the first BMW X6 (E71) as it was developed from an existing model in its mid-life.
The current BMW X6 is now in its second cycle (the third one is even more absolutely awesome) and the GLC coupe is all new whereas the X4 is again derived from an existing model. The next generation of GLE Coupe will be more in line of what Mercedes intended it to be without the existing limits the original model imposed on it.

BMW made this segment, so it is logical to compare it with inventor of this segment.
Just like 6GC and A7 are compared with CLS when they came out.
I don't see anything wrong here.
