I have clients who won't even drive their G's in the rain. LOL. I love sending them these videos. But, it speaks to the disconnect. An Electric G submerged 1/3rd in water. What could go wrong??

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class, colloquially known as the G-Wagon or G-Wagen (as an abbreviation of Geländewagen), is a four-wheel drive luxury SUV manufactured by Magna Steyr (formerly Steyr-Daimler-Puch) in Graz, Styria, Austria, and sold by Mercedes-Benz. Originally developed as a military off-roader, later more luxurious models were added to the line. In certain markets, it was sold under the Puch name as Puch G until 2000.

I like them. It’s the one example where I think “more is more” works. It’s been a major inspiration for the urban kits o the Land Rover Defender. Personally, I prefer to own a G63 without the bars us or urban kits.

Kicking myself for not buying the 500 I tested years ago, but to be honest, it felt like driving a tent on the highway.
It’s exactly what we Merc drivers want.
Mercs were always very expensive, but they had the quality to match the price.
