The current "Exklusive Edition" for the Mercedes-AMG G 63 and G 65 can be ordered at present - at least until March 2018. According to the rumors, the "Final Edition" is to be offered with just 65 units worldwide. MB Passion expects an exclusive Mercedes-AMG G 65 special model for the unit price above 320,000 euros.

My big question is, will they carry over the door mechanism to the new G? Keyless-go is overrated and take precedence over a definitive G-Class feature.

I'm seen the same door handles in spy shots, but that doesn't say for sure it's the same.

100% true, ever since Mercedes Australia decided to sell the AMG version of the G class, sales has boomed, and the ratio of AMG vs normal G wagon is around 3 to 1.

So the USA must be its biggest market now wouldn't it?

That would be nice, but I can't see them showing both the GLE and the new G at the same time. Then again the U.S. market is SUV crazy right now so they might just do it. 2018 is going to be a huge year as nearly every Mercedes on sale in the U.S. is seeing some changes either for the 2018 model year or during the 2018 calendar year for the 2019 model year.

Surely it's still the Middle East, no? In the UAE, entire families have white G63s, and it's the most common luxury vehicle.

Hello guys, anybody has specific info on the G-Class' new dimensions for the upcoming model?

I know it's 10 cm wider (making it about ~75 inches?) but what about its length and height?

Is it true that G Professional & 4x4/2 will be discontinued??? If so its really dissapointing.

I belive that G Professional is the only model which retain the core DNA of orginal Galendawagen and its more suited for expeditions & military purposes.

4x4/2 on the other hand is the model which is highly off-road capable with tuxido.
