I reckon they'll try to keep the bodywork as similar as possible, but use MRA or MB.EA-L depending on whether it's ICE or BEV.It’s much simpler to say the next S will be both electric and ICE. EQS is being dropped. That’s the truth of it. I doubt the two separate models was sustainable. Now maybe we can get a real knockout car with less compromise on quality since they only have to build one car.

I hope they're using their EQXX tech in their different EA flavours. You know using the machine learning algorithms to emulated biological structures to reduce the mass of components etc.The next S class ICE models due in 2028 needs to be plug in hybrid on all models with a 200km range and a 100kw DC charging speed and 22kw AC as standard. The BEV version to have at least 110kwH battery with 900V architecture and 500kw charging capacity. They need to reduce the weight and size of the battery by at least 25 to 30% and increase density to ensure a 900km range and 12min charging speed from 10% to 80%. This will ensure they will at least be competitive against other non Chinese brands.
