I still don't understand why the Burmester 3D system won't be available for the station wagon

My guess is the open area at the back of the wagon isn't acoustically optimum for the Burmester 3D system to work.

I live in Canada - anyone think the E63S would be dangerous to drive in the winter?

Job #1 rolled off the line in Sindelfingen. It's the 6. generation of the wagon, which started with the W123 series in 1978. Daimler said more than a million have been produced so far.

If true, I think they just made that decision. The E63 was on track for Paris before I believe. Who knows. Bring on the AMG GTC Roadster now I guess.

If you want a 6-cyl E, you have to spend another $20,000....that's pretty ludicrous, IMO.

The situation is more ludicrous down under. even the E 400 cost an extra $33k AUD over the E 300. That is enough to get a high spec Toyota Camry, or a Toyota 86.

I am sure there are certain options that are now standard along with the AMG bits and bobs in the E43, nonetheless that's a big jump to get a 6-cylinder E.

That's so expensive for an incline 6. The 550i competition will have a v8, and I'm pretty sure the S6 will keep the V8 also

Mercedes will have the smallest of the bunch!

MBUSA is on some really powerful. Ridiculous pricing. The E43 will be 80K easily with just a few options. Ridiculous. Maybe the lineup will be re-jiggered for 2018: E300, E400, E55 and E63......52K, 62K, 70K and 105K. A E55 with 490hp for 72K would sell like hotcakes with the new I6, but this E43's price is ridiculous.
