Looks like I'll be getting the E63S AMG since only that or the E43 come with 4-matic.
I live in Canada - anyone think the E63S would be dangerous to drive in the winter?
Not in AWD mode it will have good traction.

E43AMG starts at 72.4k in USA.
The situation is more ludicrous down under. even the E 400 cost an extra $33k AUD over the E 300. That is enough to get a high spec Toyota Camry, or a Toyota 86.If you want a 6-cyl E, you have to spend another $20,000....that's pretty ludicrous, IMO.

I am sure there are certain options that are now standard along with the AMG bits and bobs in the E43, nonetheless that's a big jump to get a 6-cylinder E.
