IMO the non AMG standard bumper is a must have. I think those round holes of the AMG front are, well, way too round to the point of being ugly.

The design of the standard bumper is very nice and a bit refreshing for a Benz. More classy too.

The verdict is especially interesting.

The updated S-Class is by no means the best S-Class ever. In fact, after our time with the car, we had the chance to drive the V12, W140, and we came back from our drive pretty confident that 1991 was peak S-Class.

But, despite the abundance of stars and the objectionable screen setup, the S-Class is still one of those cars that feels right. You know the ride will be sublime, you know the power will always be there if you need it, and you know that if you end up on the back, you won’t want to leave.

So, apologies, Twitter and Reddit, the updated S-Class is still an S-Class.

The V12 should be offered in the normal S-Class, IMHO.

Motor1 is a joke. NO WAY is a W140 an all around better car than the W221, W222 or W223. Built better yes, but that's where it's superiority ends.

The car seems to be brilliant once again, but we all knew that. Besides the subjective stuff, MB never misses a beat when it comes to this model.

The more I see it, the more I fall in love with it. This is such a beautiful big sedan. I love the green interior, also.

It has some ridiculous flaws. Nevertheless, it's superior to its competitors.

I am surprised that the facelift doesn't have electrically assisted doors. It's increasingly a common option - even for the full fat range rover.

Heated seatbelt is a nice touch. I also like that rear screens have webcams for Microsoft teams meetings. For some people, the sclass is used as a mobile office.
