E-Class (W213) [Official] Mercedes-Benz E-Class W213

The W213 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is the fifth generation of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, sold from 2016 as a 2017 model. It succeeded the W212/S212 E-Class models. The coupe/convertible models share the same platform as the sedan/wagon, in contrast to the previous generation. The high-performance Mercedes-AMG E63 and E63S versions of the W213 have been available as well from 2016 (as a 2017 model), and these are the only versions with V8 engines.
Don't worry, I have seen people twirling their Mercedes key around their finger in public places.

I've seen one guy rocking it on his goldish chain around his neck.

Agree with you on a putting a MB star on the back, like the old black key of early 2000's. I think they removed it for when people place the key on a table. But it does look bland on the current key without anything on the back.

Still don't like this key. MB just followed the herd and came up with remote, instead of an actual key design.

Actually I find the star on the back of the key annoying as it doesn't allow the key to sit flat on the desk or any flat surface.

They took pictures of everywhere except the rear door which is what everyone wants to see if it is a Maybach or not?

I already know this is not a Maybach E. I just wanted to see what the w213 looks like as a lwb version with the new anti-wedge shape. The w212 looked pretty good in this form. It`s large C-pillar and rear door cutaway seemed magically hide the mass of the car. I want to see the if the W213 can pull off this same magic.

I hope they are more on par with the competitors than the new 4.0 S500, which is slower, has higher consumption and less PS and torque than the 750i and A8 4.0 TFSI.

The S 500 has 455 PS, the 750 449 PS, the 4.0 TFSI has 435 PS.
The S 500 consumption is 11.4 L/average the 750 11.9 L/average, the 4.0 TFSI has 12.4 L/average
The S 500 0-100 4.8s, the 750 4.4s, the 4.0 TFSI 4.5s
The S 500 700 Nm, the 750 650 Nm, the 4.0 TFSI 600 Nm

I think before hitting the red button, some cheerleaders (not refering to you Sonder) should take a look at the leaked specs of the 4.0 S500.

I know the figures of the current 5.5 engine.

You all missed what he said, he is talking about the 4.0L V8 S500 in that pic/graph shown in I think the S-Class thread for one of the Asian markets. That particular S500 has the new 4.0L V8 tuned to 421hp I think.

This is the 4L V8 S500 model he is talking about.

Geez, thank you.

Just saying after all the hype from the new I6, I expect an extra punch at every level compared to the other germans.
