The Cabrio is gonna be hott.

It's undoubtedly a good looking car but at the very least It should have had the E-class interior.

I tend not to 'follow' reviews for definitive opinions anymore, just a general idea about a vehicle. They are so subject to manipulation by manufacturers as well as bias from journalists.

With cars these days they MUST be experienced in person as they are so multifaceted.

I’ll accept the 53 model. The rest I think I’d just find me an CPO E coupe.

The configurator is up

I don't understand why they offer the massage seats only with the uglyass black leather whereas it is possible to get this option with brown or beige leather in the standard CLE

Could fleet average consumption and emmision requirements be driving MB to make these very weird variant selections?

If you quote, quote right and in context. She was talking about engines to arrive into this CLE and already enjoying the perspective of the announced CLE 53 and in this context saying, she was glad MB/AMG did not repeate the same mistake as with the C class and put the PHEV 4 pot of the C63 into this CLE. Come to think of it, I think I’ve never seen a more enthousiast and praising video about the CLE than this one.

I mean I don't think its particularly remarkable insight to say that the 4 cylinder 63 is not desirable.
Its only been repeated to death.

The quote has the context, although a quote per se does not need context, plus I posted the source video.
"Referring to the 4 pot" and culminates "the C63", it is not clear what the quote refers to?

I don't think I've ever seen a more enthusiastic and complimentary video about CLE than this one.
He mostly praises the exterior design and how much he likes the interior, little more than that except that he doesn't like the engine and that it doesn't suit the car.

It depends how and from where you look at it, for those who do not live in Europe it may be anecdotal to see that everything bad that has been said about the car translates into the reality of non-acceptance of the model by buyers.

I didn't see it, it seems to be the 4 series pre LCI

The obvious difference in the finishes of one and the other, that disgusting black plastic of the CLE compared to the finishes of the same arm of the 4 series, Isn't it obvious in the photo?

I wish Mercedes would go back to the way it previously made its mid-size coupe's namely 2 dr Sedans. Think how elegant and affluent the W124 Coupe was. This carry over from the first CLK has progressed into soap bars with additional mass visually at the rear quarter.
