CLA [Official] Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupé (C117)

The Mercedes-Benz CLA is a series of luxury subcompact executive cars manufactured by Mercedes-Benz since 2013. The first generation was a four-door sedan based on the platform of the W176 A-Class and W246 B-Class compact cars, marketed as a four-door coupé. In 2015, Mercedes-Benz expanded the CLA family to include a station wagon configuration which it markets as a Shooting Brake. As the V177 A-Class sedan took its place as the budget-conscious sedan, the second generation got longer and wider than the W205 C-Class.
It is not just a flat price increase as MB has increased the standard equipment on the CLA.

Mercedes GLB previews a CLA-based crossover
Probably won't ever happen
Auto Projecoes has imagined a new Mercedes-Benz crossover, based on the CLA sedan and called the GLB.

We haven’t heard anything about such a model from the German brand, but this rendering gives a pretty good look at what it could look like. Currently the CLA-Class family consists of a sedan and a shooting brake body styles, while the A-Class range also includes a hatchback and a SUV (the GLA).

If the GLB ever happens, which currently seems highly unlikely, it could be one of a kind model. The S60 Cross Country, which was revealed earlier this year with high ride height and all-wheel-drive system, has similar body shape, but is much bigger.

Mercedes CLA Street Style by CRO

Mercedes has teamed up with German rapper CRO to create a new art car based on the CLA Street Style.

Described as an "imaginative" and "expressive" example of graffiti art, the car was painted freestyle with aerosol paint cans, paint pens and traditional paint.

According to CRO, "I paint and draw almost always, no matter where I am or what I'm doing. Nothing is safe from me and, indeed, not a Mercedes-Benz."

The art car will go on tour as part of the Mercedes-Benz Roadshow before eventually being sold.

There are certain similiraties in shape, but graphics and sharp end at Genesis stoplight sets them apart.

Of course there are subtle differences.

It was rather strange to see the two parked next together in a parking garage.

My eyes love to compare...:cautious:
