PRICE TRANSITION ARRANGEMENTS IN PLACE
It gets interesting with the price transition regulations of the C-Class. The following applies: If you have ordered up to and including April 03, 2023, you will receive your continuous model at the old price. The optional extras, on the other hand, are charged at the original price. For the Plug.In hybrids, this applies analogously to orders until April 19, 2023. Existing customers should receive a new order confirmation shortly.

This is what your 45202 Euros C180 looks like in its stock standard black Avantgarde trim. It does have smart looking multi spoke 17inch wheels.

The interior however has no silver trim around the electric window switches with ugly black piano shiny trim. The center screen is the smaller one but still looks good. The drivers instrument screen is also smaller and has ugly thick besels. Seat upholstery is black cloth, which looks smart but the seat squab looks very flat. Door trim is ugly all black.

The back seat looks comfortable but for this price of car I can't believe Mercedes excludes the center foldaway armrest!!!!

That interior looks like a Dacia or something.
Completely.
It makes no sense to buy a Mercedes like this, I understand the base price and everything, but it is for others to appreciate it (exterior) and for one to enjoy driving but not live with it....

The price hike for the C 300d sedan is > € 10.000. It is better equipe, but still, beefy.
I’m curious about the prices of the S, in a few weeks time.

The lesser powerful Mercedes C300d was faster from 0 to 100 km/h and was .4 of a second quicker around the track.

I thoroughly enjoy watching these 2 guys competing against each other in their videos, they very entertaining. Very close result for these German compact executive wagons. I certainly didnt expect the Mercedes to win the 0-100 sprint and the race track duel. The BMW is quicker from 100-200 and also it was a draw on the boot space test. The interesting test was comparing the cars time to open windows, turn AC on and turn navigation etc with voice commands,

I have always been skeptical about these voice activated infotainment systems, but I was surprised to see how well the Mercedes system works.

Maybe naming a German car company with an Spanish female name wasn't such a bad idea after all.

It's funny that the BMW system only works if you say BMW with the English pronunciation "Bee-em-double-you" and not in the German pronunciation "Bay-em-vay". Imagine the frustration that's gonna be for German drivers? "Hey Bay-Em-Vay" and the Infotainment is completely silent and the German driver will be confused why it didn't reply it back. Driver will be like "Was zum Teufel?!"

Got to say after seeing several W206 on the street, I think the car looks absolutely brilliant. IMO, the W223, W213 and W206 are the best looking modern S, E and C. On the W206, it has double merit, cause the G20 3er is probably the best looking 3er since the E46.

@Big Sam any updates on your C-Class? Since you own these two amazing cars on the same segment, care to elaborate on which one you like best and why?

It's "way" not "vay". Bay am way

And if you want that, put the system in German instead of English.

It definitely is "vay/vee" in English transcription.

I was talking about the German pronunciation. A 'double you' is pronounced as w-a-y, not v-a-y

Say Bay Am Way out loud (in English) and it's how a German or Dutch person would say it :)

I like the Yankee style though, Bee Em Double Ya. Might have to put it back in my signature again.

That´s not true - German pronunciation works...

Sorry for the continued off topic...

I'm not sure I understand. I've never heard a German person use the English W sound for the W in Werke, always the English V sound. If I say in English 'Bay Am Way', I'm not making the sound native Germans make when they say BMW in their own language.

Oliver Zipse saying BMW

I'm getting, and would say, Be Em Ve

?
