208k euro/297k sgd in Singapore for C180
OMG that is crazy how much the price of those cars is in Singapore. The import duties on the German cars much be massive.

Too bad that the European Union has declared war against diesel, because this is pretty much the perfect C-class IMO.

I must say that inline 4 M139 engine doesnt sound that bad in the C43. Ok the V6 was in another league for ear drum heaven but this engine doesnt sound like a tractor or sewing machine at least. Cant wait to see the performance figures and I am hoping it will be faster than claim and at least match the M340i time of 4.3sec to 100.

You don't need to wait anymore, amigo.

Thanks for posting this mate. I am a little disappointed in the figures, it is much slower than the M340i at all speeds and even slower than the old C43 at higher speeds. All figures are from AutoTopNL.

0-100km/h in 4.66sec (4.3sec for M340i; 4.79sec for old C43)
0-200km/h in 17.88sec (16.05sec for M340i; 17.82sec for old C43)
0-250km/h in 35.52sec (29.68sec for M340i; 33.83sec for old C43)
1/4 mile in 12.74sec (12.34sec for M340i; 12.85sec for old C43)

In two aspects it is a little faster than the old one and in two it is slower than its own predecessor!
Well, and in all of them it is slower than the M340, congratulations Mercedes, keep participating

It might be slower than M340i but in high tax countries people don't buy cars with 3000 cc engines anymore, only enthusiasts.
So C43 is actually a better value proposition.

That sounds like a pretty far-fetched disclaime for a permormance car

His clearly holding his tongue. Zero enthusiasm in his voice while talking about the car.
Shmeee lost his smile and his joy, wow, it seems that he wants to get out of it in the middle of the Autobhan and leave it on the side of the road, it is a car that from what is perceived in his words, he completely forgot when he got off and went to his home.

We must never forget that brands like AMG make the AMG GT as a halo to be able to sell many of these, which are the ones that give it the "mass" of buyers, Mercedes determined to do things badly conscientiously
