C-Class (W205) [Official] Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet (C205)

The Mercedes-Benz W205 is the fourth generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class which was produced by Daimler AG between 2014 and 2021. The W205 C-Class was preceded by the W204 C-Class and superseded by the W206 C-Class. The fourth-generation C-Class was available in sedan (W205), station wagon/estate (S205), coupe (C205), cabriolet (A205) and long-wheelbase sedan (V205) body styles.
I'm going to be shocked to see these state side by Oct in any kind of numbers. Production for the rest of the calendar year looks anemic.

What do you mean? C-Class production? Overall Mercedes production? Has demand slowed at MB? The S Cabrio is on fire here.

They have arrived at U.S. dealers:

While they look similar, the difference in proportions have quite a significant impact on the overall desirability between the two vehicles.

I agree, which is why with a C Cabrio, the AMG 63 is the model to have. The wider body does wonders for it.

Top down, it's fine. Top up, that short deck lid doesn't do it any favors and gives off a frumpy appearance. Then again, most cars' looks diminish next to an S Cab.

Yep. i had a long time owner coming to look at ours and his exact comments was the back looks stubby, giving it a econo look. It's not a cheap car, but the stumpy deck lid makes it look more like a 1-series BMW than a competitor to a 4-series and A-4.
Very disappointed in the initial response. Crickets chirping so far.

The cabriolet isn't selling at all? How about the S class convertible?

It's way too early to know about the C Cabrio selling or not. He also has a smaller store, not the best indicator IMO.

I saw the C cabrio in person today, it just doesn't do it for me, even with the roof down. Maybe I have to see one outside of the showroom to make a better judgement.

You have to see the C63 version with the wider body/hips. A plain C300 with no AMG or anything is nothing to see, as is the Coupe.

So if the C convertible is a rival for the 4-series convertible then the next E-class convertible will be a rival for the 6-series convertible???

What about the S-class convertible? Is that a rival for the RR Dawn?

Not everything has to have a direct rival...
