^ Hmmm not necessarily Luw, Scirroco is not placed by VW as a premium model over Golf. It's a stop-gap, niche model that's designed to appeal to driving enthusiasts without having to ask a higher price.

An interesting example that bears this strategy out is the fact that the Golf makes use of gas struts for the bonnet, whereas the Scirroco doesn't. (It uses one of those manual "stalk" thingys). Another indication is the use of the carry-over dash from the Golf 5 / EOS.

I don't hate them on Mk V, but on the new one and since they're identical, yes, i hate 'em.

^^That looks stunning!! Im not too sure about the sound though, its pretty obvious they have done a shoddy job at dubbing it into the background and the authenticity is doubtful.

I guess VW themselves also know that this cars weakness lies in the rear, hence they barely show a second of the rear in that +4min video. Still looks sexy though!
