Range Rover [Official] Gen 5 Range Rover

The Land Rover Range Rover, generally shortened to Range Rover, is a 4x4 luxury SUV produced by Land Rover. The Range Rover line has been in production since it was launched in 1970 by British Leyland.
I would say this car is there with the 911, the Ghost and very few other things in the market in terms of timeless beauty.

This group plus the S-Class and the 3er are the best of the best to me.

It's even better than the rear of the Cullinan. Which to me is near perfect.
And while I partly agree about the front, it still looks very clean, modern and much better than the outgoing.
Hopefully the autobiography version, blacked out grille or lower bumper slats will add newness to the front. Not much is needed. Just a few subtle tweak.

I don't get the criticism of the interior. Good clean design, mostly good ergonomics, executed with good materials. I guess not enough bling for some.

Yeah that is what I was thinking too. I like this. Minimalist, clean design but with luxurious materials.

I wonder what this sensual beauty approach will mean for the RR Sport. The velar lacks the presence of the flared and athletic RR Sport while the Evoque is sleek but not as cool as it's predecessor.

I was about to say the same. What's the alternative some German rivals are offering? The GLS interior looks outdated. The new interior design MB started with the W223 is a Tesla copy. And what BMW is doing with its new interiors looks nothing to write home about.

So yep, I maintain there is nothing better looking in the segment. Let alone those dull VAG clones like the Bentayga, the Urus and so on.

Agreed, the only thing that looks a tad off is the screen integration. Looks a bit like an afterthought but otherwise really clean and contemporary interior.

I think it's rather lovely. Really like the smooth and ultra-clean surfacing. Interior design is on-point modern (and yes, minimalist).

In and of itself, the interior is quite nice. But much of the interior elements have been seen on the facelifted F-Pace and XF, so I think some of the novelty is gone, especially for what is a flagship product.

That said, with so much componentry sharing that is common practice, this was to be expected and, once you consider it in those terms, some of the initial disappointment gets diminished.

Yupp. The inteior doesn't jump out in your face. However. Car interiors are becoming more homogenous both within manufacturers and across them.

Most new cars have digital instrument clusters and large screens. The new S-Class and EQS are the only two recent cars with interior design and tech integration that looks truly new.

Yup, and with those bits, there's only so many things you can really do.

Live stream just started. I fear they are only going to unveil it in 40min after lots of chit chat with celebs etc. Zzzzzzzzz

LOL, I am watching it on mute. The presentation thus far reminds me of a presentation I saw for a small start-up called Prestige Worldwide, especially when McGovern talks about luxury, desirability, and boats. ;)

Sick reveal music! Epic drums!

Man....that rear end is pure sinister perfection! It's shape and tail lights wont be mistaken for anything else in the dark.

During the Velar reveal he spoke about the car as it was the reinvention of the wheel. He is supee cocky.

I LOVE IT. It moves forward just enough to last until it becomes and EV.
