Range Rover [Official] Gen 5 Range Rover

The Land Rover Range Rover, generally shortened to Range Rover, is a 4x4 luxury SUV produced by Land Rover, a marque and sub-brand of Jaguar Land Rover. The Range Rover line has been in production since it was launched in 1970 by British Leyland. Additional models have been launched under the Range Rover name, including the Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque, and Range Rover Velar.
Dear oh dear. More oestrogen on here than Mumsnet. Chill out, 'guys', Midget McGovern is a short ar$e. He makes up for his lack of stature by designing bigger and bigger, taller and taller cars - like his jacket lapels and his Cuban heels. I correctly identified what this event was about - return of cars from the Napa press event. The 'pro' journos at Road & Track didn't - even though they may have been at this event. Perhaps the alcoholic haze gave them amnesia --> cue more hysterical outrage from the 'men' here.

I don't care what you or JLR dealers - totally impartial - say about endless waiting lists for this car/all JLRs. Heard it all before, multiple times. 'Top' journos in 2018 said: 'The Game-changing, rapturously received I-Pace has 25,000 confirmed orders'(S.Cropley, Haymarket Media, c. July 2018). To this day, that car hasn't sold that many - genuine sales.

I really don't care. I do care about outing shills, though, almost certainly paid - Merc1, Scott27, and looks like plenty of others here.

I came back here to offer advice, to these payroll shills - at some point, sooner than later, Tata will pull the plug on the dog and pony show that is JLR, and you may get bilked, for your 'work' - posting endless pictures, from 'fanboys', and vids from also 'fanboys', or 'top journos' - payroll hacks - Lieberman, De Muro, MacKenzie, Cammisa, the new guy at Out of Spec, Kyle Connor?, who crowbars JLR into everything, etc, etc.

The fact is JLR is a huge fraud, been bust, trading illegally for at least 6-7 years, and is only propped up for regime PR purposes. The number of cars it sells, genuine, is tiny and falling fast. It receives press coverage and awards in inverse relation to its size and genuine product excellence - or not - as in JLR being bottom, or near bottom, of every independent quality assessment.

The only thing it competes globally in is the size of its marketing/PR budget - paying all those on the payroll hacks and army of internet shills, cough, 'fanboys', with other marques' names
What has this got to do with the Range Rover 5?? Please put this in another thread man, we don't need to read this garbage here.

Btw, to my fellow shills posting here, I haven't received payment from JLR for my services rendered, vis-a-vis for posting anything remotely glowing about their wares on this forum. I was told that the great exalted King of Nicaragua himself would be coming to personally hand-deliver a burlap sack full of gold doubloons and E-Pace NFTs.

This car looks perfect in this colour, spec and interior. New RR is my favorite SUV, simply the finest out there. Not one bit of cheap looking shiny black piano black plastic in this interior. Everything looks exquisitely made with the wood, leather and metal trim.

Comfort in the vegan interior is heavenly. Instead of just doing leatherette, JLR has created have developed new materials.

The light grey is cloth that durable but softer and less abrasive than what you get in an economy car. Thankfully the darker grey material is semi grippy but soft polyester that keep you in place.

It results in seats that are rightfully squidgy and utterly heavenly in comfort. Honestly, they are so lovely to sit in that JLR should make sofas and mattresses using the same tech. Other people who say in the car were also taken by surprise.

Think of it like taking the world most comfortable but supportive single seatee sofa and putting it inside a very high riding car. You feel at home!

Gary McGovern has a big ego but you can't deny that he's done a magnificent job with the two new Range Rover.

No wonder he said a few years ago that Jaguar would stop creating concepts in fear of copy cars beating Land Rovers to the punch.

It’s strange cause when the previous version was unvieled I thought to myself they couldn’t improve this shape any further it’s the best looking modern SUV (G Wagon aside as the design dates back to the ‘70s), what Range Rover consistently does is nothing short of design perfection even Bentley and Rolls Royce have failed to compete in terms of design imo.

Cloth is the new leather.
