I think, Ford can use Verstappen as driver, if they want it like in the Chris Harris video or others. You can see Red Bull related drivers driving or testing Ford cars now.

Upon further inspection, I'm confident those are Michelin slicks (they probably run 31/71-19 squared).
I don't think they're DOT-approved, but Ford is probably not even concerned about that, given that the Corvettes it has now allegedly beaten are both classified as prototypes by the track officials.
