I'm seeing some inspiration from the Lamborghini Urus in the side profile, while the front grille is resembling an Audi more than a Mustang...
Well, I think since the car is carrying a Mustang name, it has to be a sport coupe SUV or crossover or whatever.
It's good looking but not completely original, whether on the inside or the outside, but at this point, almost everything is being derived from elsewhere.

With every new EV I see I am more and more amazed with how far the Germans are behind......
Yup. We've pretty much seen it all by now. With these new modern production ways and plastics that can fold and shape in every possible way, we're getting to the point where every (normal looking) design feature is already seen on another car in some variation.
Same with interior design, although there is some more room to be creative here...
The great upside of these EVs is that proportions can be kept completely in check. No weird overhangs needed, and no bulging hoods to comply with pedestrian safety, because there is no big dangerous engine in the front. I really like that.
Can we just say they all copied the first generation X6 and get over it?
