5 Series (F10/F11/F07/F18) [Official] BMW F10 5 Series

The BMW F10/F11/F07/F18 is the sixth generation of the BMW 5 Series, manufactured for model years 2010–2017. The body styles of the range are: 4-door sedan/saloon (F10), 5-door estate/wagon (F11, marketed as "Touring"), 5-door fastback (F07, marketed as "Gran Turismo"), and 4-door long wheelbase sedan (F18, sold only in China and the Middle East).
I spotted my first 550dM Touring today. The car looks great, such good looking car. The car had greyish color I dont see often but I think its the best color for 5-series. Makes you hope for a M5 Touring.

The craftsmanship!(y)

Oh so satisfying when tactile quality shows so clearly, and it's "only" an F10.

That Vilner edition has the console (the part where the iDrive button/shifter is located) covered in wood finish. Looks great! It's ordinary cheap plastic on every other 5er, including the M5.

The overall look is taken from the 2010 BMW Concept Active hybrid 5 in regards to the lower intakes.
The 5er will be offered with adaptive LEDs as an option , updated taillights and reprofiled rear diffuser.
Front wing mirrors with side indicators.
The next-gen six cylinder engine that will premiere with the F32 BMW 4er Coupe in spring will feature as will a petrol powered EfficientDynamics model. And rounding off will be the usual interior trim , exterior colour and wheel re-designs.

The priority changes are to the steering which is reconfigured to be more communicative. A more class-leading ride and dynamic proficient handling updates in order to improve the overall impression of the car.

It will get a fierce glare ala 5er GT (especially due to the treatment above & around the headlights & around the grille & the grille itself).
The "beak" featuring the grille will be gone, and the nose will get more pointy shark-like treatment in 5er GT style, also due to vertically asymmetrical kidney grille slats.

Sounds good no doubt. I assume you've seen the facelift, then?
Also, regarding the bolded: you mean like the 5er with M pack has no 'beak'?

I assume the shape of the headlights and backlights will stay exactly the same, only with new tech/graphics? Only thing that will change will be the bumpers and mirrors with built in blinkers.

Sounds good. The new A6 is getting too much on 5er's heels....

I don't get you, it seems to me that there's wood on around the i drive knob and gearbox shifter on the regular 5er.

The new In-line six is part of the new range of EfficientDynamics engines it replaces the N55 and it debuts in the 4er Coupe first (Which is now in FEP) . The new engine also incorporates BMW's Cylinder dimming from the larger V8.
BMW aim to be at the forefront of new engine technology roll out for a wide variety of cars.

The 5er Sedan , Touring and Gran Turismo which will be facelifted at the same time will be unveiled in the summer prior to the IAA in September 2013 when they will arive on the market. The M5 will follow after.

It is not plastic , It's actually leather on the M5. Very soft to the touch. It looks like plastic but it is not. It combines with the leather on the dash.
