5 Series (F10/F11/F07/F18) [Official] BMW F10 5 Series

The BMW F10/F11/F07/F18 is the sixth generation of the BMW 5 Series, manufactured for model years 2010–2017. The body styles of the range are: 4-door sedan/saloon (F10), 5-door estate/wagon (F11, marketed as "Touring"), 5-door fastback (F07, marketed as "Gran Turismo"), and 4-door long wheelbase sedan (F18, sold only in China and the Middle East).
The F10 with a more distinctive and cunning face replacing what IMO is too drab and flat/bland a look up there, which the M Sport Package sort of curbs but not fully, will truly make it an ultimately perfectly rounded Sedan. I just hope that they DON'T go too far like the 3-Series and put something too fussy and goofy up there. I like the elegance of the 5ers front, and the soft edges and smoothness, I'd just like to see some more refinement and character up there to really round out the design.

Are they also changing 5-series headlights to integrate with grill like the new 3-series?

No they are not. Expect a minor facelift, with new bumpers only. But remember that the bumper goes all the way up to the hood cutline, and the whole grille is part of the 'bumper'.
Like Eni said, you can already see the 5er GT style 'eyebrows' through the camo.....which is a very good thing, as it's a highlight of the 5er GT design. It will make the front more 'angry' looking.

It seems only yesterday when they pulled off the covers in the Olympic stadium in 2009.
However F10 is still a good looking 5er emphasised even more with the G30.
Yes the styling is evolutionary but complete up-to-date and somehow that coupe like roofline is even more dynamic looking on the G30 when you didn't think it would even more possible. The lights appear evolutionary but have a more wrap around quality than the previous model.I have no doubt that the new 5er could eclipse the success of the F10 in both sales and the segment standard.
The order book is very, very healthy for the new model as it is building for the G31.

This car has aged quite well if at all and I prefer the looks a tad bit more over the class benchmark G30 5 series. Still such a beautiful timeless looking car.

Hello all, i am not sure if the post is right, but anyway...
I would like to ask for a suggestions regarding power performance kit PPK for a BMW 520d (B47).
At a local dealer the kit would cost around 1500€. I consider too much for an old car. Anyone would know if the prices are dropping down as car ages? I would be interested if supply price in Austria or Germany is somewhere cheaper? By the other hand good companies offer optimisation (chip tunning) for approx 500€. i know original power kit has additional components, but nevertheless i consider that changing brakes would not be necessary in my case. Intercooler replacement seems legit to me. Old one could be sold as well. Stickers - trash. Since this forum seems like more American it will be hard to find some Austrian members? But let's hear everybody's opinion. Austrian forum seems dead though. :):D:p

If you want to increase the power of your 520d, the best solution is to sell it and with little additional money to buy a 530d.

I am so in love to my car so i can't sell it just because i would need some 20-30 extra HP. I would invest some extra money in it, but not 1500€. At the end of the day i will be fine without any of extra HP.

I saw a black pre-fl 535i with F80 M3 wheels driving by the other day and it just occurred to me that the early F10 5er is already turning 10 years old in 2020. My Goodness... How time flies! Still a good looking car, though.

I saw this video and I immediately thought of @empower77
