Watch out, Magic Body Control by MB?

Premiere for Executive Drive Pro: chassis control system with active
roll stabilisation and anticipatory damper control.

The levels of comfort, dynamism and effortlessly superior performance can be
elevated further still with an equipment option that is making its debut in the
new BMW 7 Series range: Executive Drive Pro. This active chassis control
system, which is available for all models with the exception of the BMW 740e,
BMW 740Le and BMW 740Le xDrive, works in unison with the 2-axle air
suspension and the Dynamic Damper Control to achieve a remarkable
standard of suspension, damping and vibration comfort. It comprises the
newly refined version of the Dynamic Drive system for reducing rolling
movement at the front and rear axle. For the first time, active roll stabilisation is
now carried out electromechanically, allowing the body roll forces to be
equalised particularly swiftly and precisely when taking bends at speed. When
driving in a straight line, the adjustable anti-roll bars are set so as to allow the
suspension system the greatest possible freedom of movement for increased
comfort. The comfort-enhancing effect is further heightened by the standard
air suspension. What’s more, the new system is also more energy efficient
compared to hydraulic control.

Beyond all this, Executive Drive Pro also incorporates an anticipatory chassis
control function. The advance information for regulating the combination of
chassis systems is gleaned from the driving style analysis readings, the data

from the navigation system and a stereo camera, and helps to considerably
enhance ride comfort and driving safety.

Leave it to the S-Class to show the way for everyone else.

I'm sorry but i'm not impressed at all..it's evolution 2.0.And that interior doesn't hold a candle to the S-Class one IMO of course.

Once again, I'm asking kindly for some elaboration. Even if it's just your personal opinion, I wanna understand how you come to your conclusion.
Or did you mean it literally? That would actually make sense: the S class is about candles, the 7er about electric lighting.

I'm really dissapointed about the weight. If BMW wants to make carbon fiber the highlight of this car (and it is, because there is nothing else particularly interesting about it), it should have lost a lot more than just 190lbs. I mean, I was expecting double that based on what Scott said and how much they were playing up the "carbon core" to the media.

At least that weight is shaved mostly from the top of the car. Maybe that will still help it some.

Give me this in the dark silver color BMW used in the X5 M:

Stunning.

Its probably very difficult to lose considerable ammounts of weight while also trying to make chassis stronger and stiffer, car more safe, have more technology, more everything.

Yes but get it in black and everything blends in and not just any black you can of course go Individual and specify numerous shades of Black.

Now you can see what awaits you in the next BMW 5er and 5er Gran Turismo.

What I can´t stand is why BMW does not put more spice and produce the 9er, M7 and M supercar once and for all. The pic I have posted proves BMW knows how to produce expensive looking cars without losing its sporty character.

I don´t think we see the 9er, but the M7 is a must now.

Carbon fiber can be both stronger and lighter than steel or aluminum. Safety... Eh I'll guve you that one. Carbon fiber is too brittle to be used impact areas.

The new technology is what I have a problem with though when it comes to weight. I'm not an EE, but there has to be some way to simplify and streamline the amount of computers and electronics in the car. Or at least some way to make the electronics themselves lighter.

Love it. Next level sh!t right there. What a stunner, inside and out. Can't wait to see it in the metal.

Yeah, but they are not going to put that much carbon in the 7er, it would be interesting to know how much of the weight saving is from carbon fiber, how much those parts are lighter than old steel (?) ones.
Maybe they do make electronics lighter, but imagine how many more cameras, sensors and other stuff is in this car compared to f01

I don't like that the grill is too tall. I still prefer the S Class but this turned out great.
It still has that BMW presence, and it's not a crazy in your face design.
It reminds me if the E32, if only it had a more svelte front grille, like the E38 or F30.
The back is awesome tho

I guess the RWD I6 740i is where's it at, with the extra lightness, the sport Gbox and the torque from dat boost

More like 7 without M-Sport package.
It seems to me that this is one of the nicest 7 series from the E38.
I think that this is going to be one of the best cars in the world as the S class.

@SDNR please, can you stop masturbating on 7er G11?

I don't like front headlights, interior is nice, rear is ok but exterior has "already seen" effect. No M pack for me, this class needs chrome.
