I drove the G30 520d on 19 inch alloys this weekend. It’s exactly what you expect from a BMW: A relaxing executive car that’s also engaging behind the wheel. Many cars lean either towards sportiness or comfort but the G30 is truly in the middle. It’s also very progressive regardless of whether you are driving off, cornering or braking.

Comparisons between it and the G11 should not be drawn as the comfort in the 7-Series is in a completely different league. Whether behind a wheel or a passenger, the experience in both cars couldn't be more different.

Strengths
+Chassis give good road feel like a proper BMW should.
+Fantastic stability under braking and little body roll in corners.
+Steering that’s neither too light nor heavy.
+Excellent and easy to use tech.
+The optional comfort seats are heavenly and the best seats of any BMW. They are a bit wider than those of the X5 but offer more support than those in the 7-series.
+Improved Gearbox programming: Gear changes in start and stop traffic by the automatic ZF are no longer miscalculated nor confused.

Weaknesses
-The door buttons for the windows are the same as those in the E90.
-Whilst the interior is of good quality it looks very familiar.
-Rise not as smooth or quiet as the 7 series over uneven surfaces.
-Runflats still spoil the ride a bit.
-20d engine isn't exhilarating enough for a car of this statue.

From the specs PDF it appears to be the same on the 20d as it is the higher models....
