Much like with any BMW with these type of tips in the past, they're not connected.
So it would seem like the tips are connected to the exhaust. The tips are not connected to the bumper but the exhaust. I really appreciate BMW for doing that it's genuine. Small details like this remind me why I prefer BMW.
