New BMW 4-Series Coupe: Fresh Gallery with 140+ HD Photos and U.S. Prices

Here's new information on the just revealed BMW 4-Series Coupe straight from the mouth of the Bavarian brand. To be specific, we have a new gallery with over 140 pictures and details on the U.S. specification model that goes on sale later this summer including prices.
In the States, the 3-Series Coupe's successor will be offered initially as a 428i featuring a 240hp turbo'd 2.0-liter inline-four with prices starting from $41,425 ($1,800 more than the 2013 328i with a 230hp straight-six), and as the 435i with the 300hp 3.0-liter turbo-six with a base MSRP of $46,925 ($900 more than the 335i with the same engine).
The all-wheel drive 428i xDrive Coupe and 435i xDrive will start from $43,425 and $48,925 respectively. All of the aforementioned prices include destination and handling.
BMW says only an inch (26 mm) has been added to the car's length (182.6 in / 4,638 mm) compared to the 3-Series Coupe, but it has a 2-inch (50-mm) longer wheelbase (110.6 in / 2,810 mm), a 1.7inch (43-mm) increase in the width (71.9 in / 1,825 mm), and a roofline that is 0.6 inches (16 mm) lower than before (53.6 in / 1,362 mm).
Performance wise, the North American specification 435i accelerates from 0-60mph (96km/h) in 5.3 seconds with the 6-speed manual transmission, and 5 seconds with the 8-speed automatic, on its way to an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) top speed when equipped with performance tires.
The base 428i Coupe completes the standard sprint to 60mph in 5.7 seconds and like its bigger brother, it also has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph), when rolling on summer performance tires.
BMW has transferred the new trim packages that debuted on the 3-Series to the 4-Series, which will be available in Sport and Luxury Lines as well as an M Sport version with aerodynamic, wheel, interior and suspension upgrades.

*Beautiful door trim-piece, won't have it in red myself but the design and how it's incorporated is awesome!(y)

*Again, as with the F15, the seats are GREAT! And as said in the F15 thread, kudos to Audi, their S/RS-type seats rubbed-of on BMW. About time Munich has some eye catching, detailed seats;)

EDIT: Awesome set of detail photo's of the agressive, sculpted nonse and tight Kindney integration. Also the babk-to-front photos of the coupe silhoute, The Kink and the (from a certain angle) 6er-type rear/rear lights. Thank you @vios1:cool:

I will test BMW's 'bespoke-ness' and individualisation by asking if I may order this matt-chrome/stainless steel trim piece surrounding/framing the HVAC controls (Luxury Line) for the M-Sport. I want it!:)

I was sure F32 will replace my E92, I want to like F32, but something is wrong with it. Front doesn't fit with a rest of the car. Roof line is stunning and goes really nice into back (much nicer than on E92), BUT then I look the front and I see F30 3 series. Looks like merged 3 series limousine with some sporty coupe. Also I don't want to have orange colored part of tail lights - because turn signals got regular bulbs, this part of tail light is orange and that is unacceptable in 2013 IMO. My E92 got all red tail lights due to LEDS.

I planned to replace E92 with F32. But Im not sure. I don't like that front is almost 3 series copy / paste, I don't like regular bulbs in tail lights - Im sure BMW will invite me on 4 series launch and I can't wait to ask a question there if 4 series tail lights got better and newer technology than my outgoing E92. Also F32 is heavier and interior isn't improved a lot (still regular hand brake?). Since 2004 I only drove Bimmers, but for E92 replacement I guess I will have to check other cars too - I heard that Audi improved a lot in last years.

Nah WHAT??
You have yet to see this car for yourself. Stop the trolling.

It's quite disturbing to see all these new found BMW trolls here on this site. Takes a lot of the joy away.

I would assume his "nah" is regarding the comment "the best looking BMW in 10 years".

So MiniCooper is just saying he doesn't think it's the best looking BMW in the last ten years.

And you think that is "trolling"?

BMW troll... me !? LOL
I just disagree that it's the best looking. I find the E92 the best looking.

The styling to me is lukewarm-cold. But when the question becomes, "Who has a better performing car in this category?". Isn't the answer, "No one."?

I'd be lying if I didn't say that I wish the interior had bit more of its own identity. Not to say that 3er's interior's bad, but a little something else besides different trim combo would really make it its own. The exterior is just perfect.

Did people complain this much when Audi introduced the A7 of which it's cabin in turn is a exact copy+paste job of the A6? I can't recall, for maybe Audi enthusiasts is just more tolorent of their brands modus operandi, I dunno, wild guess.

I like it, it's still THE best ergonomically perfect seat for the driver, familiar-BMW and perfect at that IMO(y) Not to mention, premium quality;) Trim and lines also cater for great individualisation.

Cheers mate!:)

Truth of the matter, I knew this argument of the A6/A7 was going to come up. And while I didn't complain at the time (if my recollection serves, and as of late, that has been questionable :P), because mostly I'm more indifferent to the Audi's than the BMW's. I quite like the A7, but I would have liked something different from the A6. Also, the A7 is a new model line which has no precedence. Whereas the 4er is really the 2-door version of 3er, but BMW is making an effort to differentiate it from the 3er, thus I think a bit more "effort" would be appreciated. However, it's not enough to deter me from taking it off my list of potential cars if I was in the market.

Have to see live. I don't really like F3X front in general. Nor do I like the profile either, which reminds of the Wraith, and I dislike it. Too bad it is just a 3 Series with 2 doors, unlike the E92. IMO E92 had better rear seats.

No LED. (n)

Yes, ATM.

I'm not paying 41k for a re-badged 3 series with two doors chopped off. BMW wanted to go 'premium' and 'upmarket' with this car. They've failed in that regard.

Much prefer the old design. The old design has a strong tie between the hood and the lower front bumper. On the new design the two parts look unrelated, the bumper is just a copy past from 6 series I'm assuming.
