4 Series (F32) [Official] BMW 4-Series Coupe

The first generation of the BMW 4 Series consists of the F32 (coupé version), F33 (convertible version) and F36 (five-door liftback version, marketed as 'Gran Coupé') compact executive cars. The 4 Series was created when BMW spun off the 2-door models (coupé and convertible) of the 3 Series into a separate series. Production: July 2013 – September 2020
^I agree, I prefer the Sport trim front bumper TBH, the M-sport package one doesn't quite fit on it IMO. Maybe the intakes are just too big for that otherwise low nose. Makes me worry about how the M3 will look like.

Prefer the pre-facelift e92 though, headlights got worse with the facelift.

Orange colour on tail light (for turn signal) looks terrible and cheap:

E92 tail lights looks much nicer and premium:

This is first BMW Coupe Im dissapointed with. Thats sad, because I planned to replace my E92 with F32..

I'm not paying 41k for a re-badged 3 series with two doors chopped off. BMW wanted to go 'premium' and 'upmarket' with this car. They've failed in that regard.

What is the price difference between the F32 and the F30, compare to the E92 and the E90?

IMHO I don't think BMW fully thought it through when they ran the ads with the 4 series concept because it really does look amazing and highly desirable with everyone I've spoke to about saying 'I want one', but now the actual car has been unveiled almost all now say 'it's a bit disappointing by comparison'.

Why do manufacturers continue to make their concept much more dramatic looking.

Doesn't it have a wider and lower stance than the car it replaces? Maybe it will look much better IRL.

Rear pipes...

Isn't it about time that BMW integrates these into the rear bumper, rather than having the tacked on oval look?

Looks really old fashioned.

Black car with proper wheels will look nice. The fussiness of the mouth is also confusing. Simplicity...

I prefer the round pipes, integrated pipes look easily tacky IMO.

Also glad that BMW hasn't gone the same route as Audi and MB, on which you can get these huge exhaust pipes with any engine. While on Bimmers you get what you pay for really.

You think the integrated pipes on the concept looked tacky?

I think the grill above the pipes was too much, but not the pipes themselves. And as for huge exhaust..I'm not for those, that's why I like integrated, I think it's more discreet.

That was a 3 series. BMW wants the 4 series to be more 'upmarket'. They haven't done anything to justify the price for something that is suppose to be more 'upmarket' and more premium.

As I thought a year ago - extremely disappointing bog-standard 3er interior. After renting a 320i for 3 days on a business trip, and being very disappointed with the interior (but very impressed with the engine), I can only say that this is not good enough.(n)

I agree with you, the interior is really not great looking :(.
The exterior is quite nice, but now every BMW are beginning to look the same, they're doing as Audi .. The 3er looks as the 4er, and the 5er is very similar etc :/
It's not on the level of their gorgeous Z8, E39 5er, E30, E36, E46 3er etc from before :/

No. This car is a disappointment. I would possiby buy an m4 for its excellence. But design-wise (exterior and especially interior), this is a total let-down. Just because two doors and the coupe-svelte design possibilities mean a recipe can automatically be more beautiful than the four-door version, doesn't mean laziness should be accepted. Methinks too much time at bmw has been spent on diversifying the product ranges (ie 3er gt et al) and not enough on halo product excellence.

^Nope, definitely 4-series. I'll keep my opinion of the interior to myself until I feel it and see it live, seats look beautiful though.

I see here hard plastic

Oh for God's sake, this is the "4 Series" thread. People are discussing the 4 Series and nothing else. If you want to go into an A5 or C-Coupe thread to say they're plasticy, then go ahead. Why does everything have to turn into a Vs thread?

That's the 3 series interior.

It's not. It's the 4 Series. That just sums up how alike the two cars are. Ridiculous really.
