I saw my new 330e Touring for the first time about an hour ago. I'm very excited to say the least, if only because of the hybrid drivetrain. I guess it's the biggest difference to any car I've ever owned.

Official collection is next Monday, and I'll create a proper thread after that date, with the spec and proper photos. Until then, here's a teaser...(@klier look away, I know your feelings on black wheels :p).

Being able to specify different coloured callipers is a new option that BMW introduced a few months ago. I went for red. Of course, different coloured callipers are not new, but this is the first time you've been able to spec a different colour purely for cosmetic reasons as opposed to selecting CCBs or M Performance brakes.

I like Oxide Gray, my eyes may be deceived, but is there a hint of bronze/coper flaking? Maybe I am just being subconsciously duped with the "Oxide" in the name.

Yeah. It's hard to say. I haven't seen Oxide enough to make a judgement on what elements are in the colour. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see it under sunlight next week.
