As far as I know it’s depending from the light intensity. If the LED not exceed a designated light intensity a headlights washing system is not necessary. Therefore this is not standard like in comparison to xenon headlights.

I've had a good look at the G20 in person over the weekend. Cars were only on display; test drives not yet permitted.

Interior quality and solidity looks and feels really good. Classic 3 Series sense of occasion with the driver-oriented console. Hard, scratchy plastics remain on the lower surfacing of the transmission tunnel console but the actual plastic is thicker, sturdier and much less hollow sounding. Central fascia trim feels sturdier and less finicky in its fit over the F30. New UI for both iDrive and instrument binnacle is superb.

I need to get pics of the engine bay; there are definite quality concerns in that area in terms of wiring shielding and taping quality compared with F30.

In the metal it's as good looking as the pics suggest. Side by side, the F30 looks decidedly previous generation and that's just the way it's meant to be. The new grille has lots of presence and the side surfacing is a treat. Only the rear remains a touch anonymous. It's big too, and looks more like a 5 series in size than what one previously associated with a 3er. I've got some pics and will put them up later.

The f#cking thing's auto-focus is so bad that I did a hack job with some of the images (sharpening) to try and give them a bit more clarity. #upgradetime

Saw it in the flesh today. Fantastic cabin - world class! Super tech, UI is smooth, intuitive and quick. I actually really like the rear - I give the whole car 9/10.

Dravits Gray's wet concrete look looks much better on the stubbier 3er versus the 8er.

I think you were unconvinced by the uni-grille in pics, or at found it questionable, what was your take of it in the metal? (Well, it's probably plastic, but you get the idea.)
