E92 is beautiful not this.

F22 is far superior in every way. But again, to each his own.

sure E92 is beautiful, but As a man err I mean as the Batman I don't want my BMW coupe beautiful. I want it timeless yet aggressive, and I see potential in this 2er.

I mean look at standard e46 and the e46 M3.

Wait, scratch that. No need for an M2. A Hartge or Hamann 2er will do it from me.

E46 Coupe is timeless I agree... as is the E92. I won't ever compare the 2-Series with any 3-Series Coupe.
E21, E30, E36, E46, E92... all look way better and are classics already. Don't get me wrong. As I said already the 2-Series has a really nice front but it looks ungainly from the rear.

PS: I'll say that again: This design is a great base for an M2 and I'm looking forward to it.

I guess BMW are on the right way. Satisfying their new customer base. Of course some of us old customers will be disappointed since we are let's say... a little bit more conservative

E9X are by far not the best 3series designs (and i do own a e90)
the E46 sedan and coupe (pre FL and FL) will become true classics! imo that was the best era for BMW in modern times.

I think you are a bit too harsh on him, he knows and loves his cars, how can you not when he has a E92 M3? BMW usually get the core engineering right, it is just the little things that are being left out.

What is on offer for the 2 Series is public knowledge already. I know it's not on the BMW USA website yet but take a look at the BMW UK website and you'll see the tech on offer. No HUD. No LED headlights. The USA won't be getting anything not already available in Europe.
