Mulsanne [Official] Bentley Mulsanne

They kind of have overdone it over the original. But they were looking for product placement for the remake of ...

"Das Auto"
Nothing wrong with that, some Mulsanne owners probably want to project that kind of image when they are on the road.

They have made it perfect IMO and the LWB really fits the Mully's profile. It has a high-end old school British look to it (reminding me of the Queen's Bentley limo). I think I like it more than the Phantom now.

I always struggled with its already "less than perfect" looks ......but that wide grille is too much for me - its proportions are all wrong and it lacks dignity.

But you may have a point BBG, about it looking more like a Phantom; maybe that is very intentional.

Fabulous
Face/ lift compared to the preface lift.
The changes are nice on the new one. However, I do not like how the designers removed the center bar on the grill. It added definition and style imo. It looks a little like a school bus without it.

I don<t like the new face, the rear light on the other hand have some nice details. Is the new screen unhidable ?

Haha, I said I think I like it more than the Phantom, not that it looks like a Phantom. It looks nothing like a Phantom to me. Bentley perfected the Mulsanne IMO and to me its one of the best looking sedans.

Oops, I have a habit of misreading posts sometimes

However, the more prominent grille is more than likely Bentley's attempt at matching the imposing Rolls-Royce grille.

Just when I thought automakers were abandoning excessive chrome trim....its back in full force. Not sold on the new front yet.

That is what the Mulsanne should be like just there. It had the Bentley split grille, it still had an identity.
VAG design most be in disarray. Some of the recent efforts have been disappointing across their brands.

Barring the interior and the addition of an EWB, I am not liking the new details. I am fine with the "B" on the fender wing gills, but it looks too contrived on the rearlights (as it does on the Bentayga).

No, it's a touch-screen now, so it won't be covered.

Don't really like the dashboard-weird details like the gauges and screen that is a bit too small.

Overall I like it, but the grille is a little more characterless than before. The interior remains the most luxurious that you can buy IMO. The new seat backs facing the rear passengers are particularly nice and functional.
