I have always loved the Bentley Arnage/ Rolls-Royce Seraph. The Arnage was a remarkable vehicle that still outsold the Maybach and Phantom. Even though I will truly miss the Arnage, I can still welcome the new Bentley Mulsanne with open arms.

Even though the Mulsanne is bigger, you can see that the car is still very similar to the Arnage.

Woah! Quite a day for GCF news what with the SLS photos leaking and all...

Really, the car looks stunning - but the first thing I thought when I saw the front was...

It's impossible to get away from it. It's making a "face." Maybe with time we won't think the same - car looks otherwise amazing and will be a great foil to the RR Ghost.

I love that frreakin interior..
It looks old and modern..
sporty and classy

freakin perfect..the balance has been struck at a perfect fifty fifty

The front is no beauty, overstyled and looking weird and cartoonish. I hope those wheels dont come with the standard package. both these wheels and the wheels for Phantom are plain and boring.

Gotta agree (with Artist) - They blended "progressive luxury" and "modern classic" seamlessly into one shell, no easy task. It's like the rolling equivalent of the Wynn Resort. A great amount of surface entertainment going on for such a stately car... not a single angle was wasted.

Interior looks fantastic.

Ian Callum must be kicking himself in the nuts because the Jaguar XJ is official an overdesigned car baring little or close to zero British heritage. VAG is victorious in advancing in time while not leaving the "old world" behind. The interior in excellent, can't wait to sit inside the car at Frankfurt.

Man they sure did a number on this car, it looks fan-flippin-tastic! Complete 180 after those poor spy pictures. The detailing of the sheet metal is immaculate compared to the blobby hackjob messes that are the Continental series. This IS the sedan to have, and it's unfortunate that we all don't have the money. :eusa_doh:

I can't get rid of the feeling that this car was designed with a little wink- and that is something that need balls of steel to do.. thumbs up to Bentley.
This Mulsanne not a beauty. it's more like.. I don't know.. kick-ass is the only term I can think of right now. Kinda reminds me of this ad, of which I'm not sure yet whether it's official or not:

some over-designed elements here and there, but all in all I love it.

I completely disagree with this, but that's just my opinion.

It's a fake ad.

I'm intrigued by the name choice for this model ... since the previous Mulsanne from the 80s wasn't known for anything good.

They really couldn't find a better name for a flagship? :t-hands:

Not enough trademarked historical Bentley names available for the VAG? :t-hands:

For the Mulsanne straight at Le Mans :D

I like them both, but I doubt the Arnage outsold the Phantom? You have any numbers on this?

In central London I encounter both on a daily basis and the popularity of both models is pretty much even. What is comes down to taste really. Neither is more luxurious than the other. It's your taste and image of yourself that will determine which one you go for.

In total - perhaps. Since Arnage is here from what .. 1998? Sold in all the existing ex-RR / Bentley showrooms.
While Phantom was launched in 2003 - with very limited sales network in the beginning.

:t-cheers:

Well I think that would be a given. I think or thought he meant yearly.
