Mulsanne [Official] Bentley Mulsanne

At over $2M euro..I don't think anyone else will want to spend this much over a Dawn or even a pre owned Phantom drop head for this.

It appeals to people for who cost has it's own value, and it'll appeal to collectors too.

Personally I don't like it. It took be a long time to warm to the Mulsanne on its own. It's the haunches over the rear wheel arches that I don't like. I appreciate it's a classic design feature, but without a C-pillar to balance it, it makes the car look dumpy and broken in my opinion.... had this been a notch-back style coupe it could have looked much better....

... but that's just my opinion, and I don't have 3 million quid to spend on a car .... so I'm clearly not the target demographic!

When I saw the side profile, I was like "Damn!"

Then I saw that pic of it from up front, and I was like "Daaaaamn." I just can't get used to that front grille. Pre-FL had it right. Even the new Conti has reverted to a proper mesh grille.

^ And the interior is still the best you can possibly get, IMO. I was blown away by the quality and presentation of the interior after I took a long ride (and brief drive) in a client's updated Mulsanne EWB. In my honest opinion, Bentley's woodworking is second to none.

Very interesting are the rumours circulating that the Mulsanne successor will be an EV. Mountains of immediate torque while near absolutely silent.

But first things first:

Bring on the new Flying Spur ! It should be very special indeed.

For me, the perfect luxury saloon to buy and hold on to for 10+ years is a pre-fl Mulsanne Speed. Gorgeous car, amazing build quality, and comfort.

If you haven’t experienced one in person or driven one, then you just don’t understand it.
