I remember when Rolls-Royce/Bentley promotions were narrated with perfect 'Received Pronunciation', I guess this more informal presentation is a sign of who buys Bentleys today.

We’ve known for quite some time that Bentley has plans on offering a turbodiesel engine for the first time and the model which will get it is the Bentayga, the company’s first ever SUV. Now, a lead engineer at the Crewe-based automaker has revealed the engine in question will use an electric-driven turbocharger which will make its debut in a high performance version of the second-gen Audi Q7.
He didn’t go into any other details, but clearly he was referring to the SQ7 due next year which according to a purported spec sheet is set to use a 4.0-liter V8 TDI engine with e-turbo and 435 PS (320 kW) output. There’s no word about the torque figure, but most likely it’s close to the 1,000 Nm (739 lb-ft) mark or even higher. We are not excluding the possibility there could be some output differences between the Audi SQ7 and the Bentley Bentayga diesel. Aside from providing monstrous torque, the new technology will lower fuel consumption and reduce turbo lag, thus boosting performance of both large SUVs.
It’s not known at this point when the turbodiesel engine will join the range or if it will be sold in United States, but until then customers can get the Bentayga with the newly developed W12 6.0-liter twin-turbo gasoline engine rated at 608 PS (447 kW) and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft). A plug-in hybrid version has already been confirmed to join the range sometime in 2017.

Bentley Bentayga to become part of the company's Power on Ice event
Bentley has announced the Bentayga crossover will celebrate its ice driving debut at the company's next Power on Ice event.
This year's event kicks off on January 27th and will provide participants with an "unforgettable" four-day experience that will enable them to push an assortment of Bentley models to their limits on a series of specially designed ice tracks.
The event includes two days of ice driving training from the Bentley Ice Driving Team. The instruction is led by four-time World Rally Champion and two-time ice-speed record holder Juha Kankkunen who will also be on hand to take visitors on fast laps of the track.
When participants aren't on the track, they'll be enjoying a relaxing time at the Chalet Ruka Peak which offers contemporary Finnish cuisine and a traditional smoke sauna. Participants can also rent snowmobiles and enjoy "night time husky-sled safaris to an historic reindeer farm."
Prices start at €11,900 per person but participants can also book even more exclusive accommodations.
As for the Bentayga, drivers can look forward to the crossover's twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 engine that produces 608 PS (600 bhp / 447kW) and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system which enables the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds before hitting a top speed of 187 mph (301 km/h).

Bentley has unveiled the Bentayga First Edition to a group of VIP customers at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in Los Angeles, California.
Described as the "ultimate expression of the Bentayga’s spirit," the limited edition model has Union Jack badging and 22-inch polished wheels with black painted accents.
Bigger changes occur in the cabin as buyers will discover ‘Diamond within Diamond’ quilting, unique contrast stitching and a bespoke ambient lighting system. The model also has illuminated sill plates, "First Edition" embroidery on the seats and a Union Jack graphic on the dashboard.
Like the standard model, power is provided by a twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 engine that produces 608 PS (600 bhp / 447kW) and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system which enables the crossover to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds before hitting a top speed of 187 mph (301 km/h).
Production will be limited to 608 units and each customer will receive a unique Breitling watch that has an all-black case, a black mother-of-pearl dial and bronzetoned hands that match the "livery of the first Bentayga presented to the public." There will be three watch variants including the Emergency which features an integrated dual frequency personal locator beacon, the Cockpit B50 which has an "electronic multifunction caliber" and the automatic Chronomat 38 which is designed for women.

I want to like this SUV, but there is something holding me back. I wish the exterior looked as good as the interior.
