I don't know anyone who's actually seen one of the new A5 FL models that don't think they're an improvement. IMO this is how it should have looked in the begin.

The next generation of the Audi A5 is said to lose 100 kg (220 lbs) and won't be sold with a V8 engine.
Set to become a worthy adversary for the upcoming BMW 4-Series Coupe, the two-door version is rumored to arrive in early 2015, followed by a mid-2015 cabriolet version and an early-2016 Sportback variant.
The entry-level gasoline engine will be a 2.0-liter turbo with 177 bhp (132 kW), while the most popular diesel will probably be the 2.0-liter TDI with 197 bhp (147 kW). Another engine which should be available when the car comes out is a 2.0-liter TFSI turbo offering 227 bhp (169 kW).
The S5 will have a turbo V6 with 340 bhp (253 kW) and should be enough for a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.5s. RS5 in both coupe and cabrio flavors are planned, with both of them allegedly ditching the V8 of the current generation in favor of a twin-turbo V6 developing 475 bhp (354 kW).
There will also be a plug-in hybrid version with an electric motor and a 2.0-liter gasoline engine producing 225 bhp (168 kW). It should be capable of providing an electric range of up to 30 miles (48 km).
An optional Ultra pack will lower the A5's weight even further and should have smaller and lighter engine ancillaries, aluminum panels and hollow-spoke wheels.

Heavily customized Audi S5 Coupe in Mahogany Mica is a stunner
Audi Forum Neckarsulm currently has on display a fully customized Audi S5 Coupe painted in Mahogany Mica.
The A5 Coupe is on its way to retirement as an all-new model will be out next year, but the outgoing model still looks quite fresh especially in this S5 specification pampered by Audi exclusive. The performance coupe is wearing an Audi individual Mahogany Mica exterior paint scheme that costs €2,400 and rides on optional 19-inch 10-Y-spoke alloy wheels wrapped around in 255/35 R19 tires available for an extra €1,950.
Stepping inside the cabin, the seats and door panels are adorned with classic red Valcona leather with moon silver piping while aluminum and wood trims have been added to spice things up even further. It also has Audi exclusive instrument dials and a two-tone steering wheel wrapped around in leather with moon silver piping to mimic the seat finish.
If you would rather wait and get the next S5, it will be out together with the standard A5 Coupe in the second half of next year with a newly developed 3.0-liter V6 TFSI with 354 PS (260 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque as seen in the latest S4 / S4 Avant. Power will be channeled to a quattro AWD setup through a new eight-speed tiptronic transmission that will provide faster gear changes and will also cut fuel consumption.
The A5 / S5 Sportback will also join the party in 2016 and will be followed by the A5 / S5 Cabriolet in the first half of 2017.
