Audi a4 is FWD, so from my point of view cannot be compared from this view with the others, like 3 series, c class or lexus is
Now, the interior and the rest can be debatable...but at the moment, i like the 3 series exterior and driving dynamics, i dont mind either of the interiors, i like both a4 and 3 series and the quality is on par as well...so again, at the around same price, 3 series still wins...but remember this is an a4facelift so the same platform, same thing, for 4-5years, while the 3 series is brand new, so the a4 should be a lot cheaper

They may as well go electric with this car, it's pretty much forgotten next to the A5 Sportback models. It's as bland and forgettable as ever now IMO.

The A4 is a car that is very trim and colour sensitive. It can look classy and sporty as a powder blue S-line with 18 or 19inch 5-star rims and lowered suspension or downright boring as a base model with 16inch steel wheels and black or silver paint.

Indeed. The entire portfolio of Audi sedans is just plain and boring. I don't even blink every time I see an A6 or an A8.

Audi SUVs are way better sorted out these days.

I am starting to hate the application of chromed or aluminium appendages to brighten up an intake.
As an example the ones on the BMW M235i Gran Coupe could probably take your legs off in an impact since they protrude so far outwards.

Very much agreed. Those appendages are just bits of bling added in the guise of 'styling'.

Audi saloons used to be simple, conservative and elegant-looking. Now they're trying to be all modern, daring and chic, and failing badly.

The BMW M235i Gran Coupe is a very dangerous model. It can even cause permanent eye damage without even touching you, just by looking at it. It's a public danger.

This should have been a bigger facelift with more changes to the front and rear. The pre FL A4 was already the most conservative looking car in this class and the FL in my opinion doesnt do anything to bring some excitement to entice people to buy it. It really is more boring than boiling eggs or watching paint dry.

The glimmer of hope for the A4 is the bolder styling on the A1 and Q8. However I am not holding my breath. I think the B10 will be even more conservative than the A6 and A3.
