911 (992) [Official] 2021 Porsche 911 GT3 (992 Series)

The Porsche 992 is the eighth generation of the Porsche 911 sports car, which was introduced at the Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles on 27 November 2018.
Very subtle to launch it in Agate Grey. Did anyone notice that the lower (intake surround) section of the bumper is colour-coded? I wonder if that'll be an option on the straight GT3...

Ferrari is.
But the 992 is just gorgeous.

Obviously, a large and very passionate Ferrari (roadcar) fanbase exists (and flourishes). I'm simply no longer (and haven't been for the past 3 1/2 decades) a member of it.

I think 992 is more color sensitive. In the right color, it looks stunning -

Oh yes. What color is this? I was told I can have a GT3 next summer if I order one now and this color is stunning. I've never had a purple car and "purple porsche" just sounds good.

Viola Metallic (PTS).

It's a delightful color though I think more suited for Touring rather than the winged GT3.

The colour reminds me of that "Plum Crazy" colour that was featured on Chrysler Corp. muscle-and pony cars in the late 1960s'/early 1970s'. It look especially good on Dodge Coronet R/Ts' and SuperBees.

This is viola metallic is what I’m thinking. I love the heritage seats.
I am sucker for their tartan and pepita (houndstooth) seats. Nice embellishment without being garish.

Viola would look good on this.

I think I'd go for a 1960's vibe and go PTS Irish Green on the outside and coffee brown leather and pepita inserts. Mmmmmm........
