718 Boxster/Cayman (982) [Official] 718 Boxster, Cayman GTS 4.0

The Porsche Boxster and Cayman are mid-engine two-seater sports cars manufactured and marketed by Porsche across four generations—as a two-door, two-seater roadster (Boxster) and a three-door, two-seater fastback coupé (Cayman). Since the introduction of the fourth generation in 2016, the two models have been marketed as the Porsche 718 Boxster and Porsche 718 Cayman.
The 4 cylinder variant gets a lot of hate by keyboard warriors. However, those who have driven it find it decent for daily driving.

I’ve driven both GTSes; the 2.5 litre four cylinder turbo GTS is muuuch faster than a manual 4.0. Gotta get a GTS 4.0 in PDK to peg level.
The thing with the 2.5 turbo GTS is, if you’re prepared to dispense with the “character-snobbery”, then you’ll get immense bang for buck.

Unfortunately, for most - including me - the essence of the sporting Porsche experience incorporates the signature flat-six engines.

I’ve driven both and I agree. If you can get away from your own brain demons , the 4 cyl
