M3/M4 [Official] 2021 BMW M3 and M4 [G80 & G82]

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M

CSL around 600 I hope
IMHO, a 2 door CSL coupe shouldn't require anywhere north of 530-540 hp. If engineered to its unique selling proposition, a G82 CSL would benefit more from shedding excess weight and stiffening in the appropriate departments than excess power and AWD. It shouldn't necessarily be about straight line speed with a car like this and I believe Porsche to be one of the very best marque's to understand this concept. Just take a look at the legacy that has been the latest iterations of the GT3 RS...500 horsepower and plenty of driving thrills. The 997 4.0 being the absolute sweet spot for me.

Hopefully I like that formula and it would be suitable, in addition to how it has been described the M4 is a very good candidate to "purify" it even more.
The problem I see is the competition from Mercedes with its Hybrid C class AMG and its 643 or more horses, (I don't even know if this is true or it really is not known), since it sounds like what they do in Dodge with Hell cats , raw power without much sense, with only 4 cylinders and so much power, I think that BMWs have the most correct arguments and specifications to get away with it.

This useful and colorful arm that reaches the belt, present in the 4 coupe and cabrio, it seems that it is not in the M4, would they have eliminated it because of the weight? It's a shame....

That lap looks super fun, those slight skids controlled to the full limit, predictable and very balanced, it seems like a walk in the park

"This useful arm that reaches the belt".

On what basis are you describing it as useful? Do you have much experience of it? I do, when I owned an F82 M4 Coupe, and it was a useless, waste of time gimmick. It often gave up waiting for it to activate and just reached for the belt, which wasn't that difficult anyway. A pointless, over-engineered solution to a problem that didn't exist, like gesture control.

Illustrate me with your vast experience in mechanisms that bring the belts closer to you, my other option today is to hammer my testicle

You seem ultra sensitive.

It wasn't even the F82 M4. It was the E92 M3 Coupe, which I also owned. Do some research and you'll find very few people who didn't think it was pointless. The F82 M4 forgoed it, so I assume the G82 M4 forgoes it too.

The one time I've ridden with a 5 point harness was in a 2 seat Darrian... if you genuinely want to know what a hammer to the testicles feels like, I recommend it.

Maybe the system is a bit redundant, but it brings it a few centimeters closer to you, and I like it, (the rotating handles also raised the windows when they were not electric), I am one of those who enjoy this type of gadgets, everything that moves by itself inside or outside the car
Just seeing that the cabrio also has it, I think that more than for the fact of being a little pointless, in the M4 or M's it is discarded for weight and cost reasons

 I guess it's more or less like driving a super kart

That insert on the seat looks like it'll provide (nut)crackin' time amid an abrupt stop....especially if there's an instance where one doesn't buckle their seatbelt. ;)

It depends on the seat positioning and the person who's seating.
Shorter people find the arm mechanism useful in my car. I often find it useful too(183cm. and long arms) but it really is a bit slow.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
