M3/M4 [Official] 2021 BMW M3 and M4 [G80 & G82]

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M

When this first came out, I was overwhelmed by the grill in a bad way. But just like @Merc1, I have grown to really like this cars appearance, particularly in dark colors which I think helps tone-down the grill. It also has a great stance/proportions and exudes aggressiveness that one would expect to see in this type of vehicle. That grey in the video looks awesome too.

I'm really coming around to the M4 now. It has a proper aggressive look. I think I like the convertible even more.
I've grown used to the front end and like the M3. However I still consider the rear of the M4 to be weak compared with the M3 and the F82 M4.

It works on a Subliminal level. When everyone is losing their minds over not being identified by their proper pronouns. And the screeching you receive when you do not use their proper pronouns, to the full meltdown when you tell them you identify as an Apache helicopter.
Here you identify as a car a BMW M.car. Let the screeching begin. ?

Is this based on your experience as someone that's attempted to identify as a BMW insider for a good number of years?

This one has the M Performance Exhaust, I'm not a fan. Skip to about 1:45.

Yawn. The only time I ever hear about "wokeness" or "pronouns" or anything progressive it's from people like you whinging about it! What on Earth does it have to do with the M3 or M4, or the "M" video?

I've chosen not to have the "politics" section of this forum visible to me because I'm here to discuss cars, and yet I click on the M3/M4 thread and I have to read you, yet again banging on about crap like this. Stick to the bloody politics section with your political stuff, seriously.

Man, I have only seen you complain about politics when someone is clearly not on the progressive side.

You seem to dislike when some of us complain about some of the progressive politics involved in almost every aspect of today's life. And the F1 example comes to my mind here (as usual, you engaged in a longer than needed debate about it with me).

It's just a joke, or an opinion about something. Something you seem to like (otherwise, why bother when others make fun of it?). Likewise, some others have the right to dislike it or make fun of it.

Why are you asking me this? I'm not the one posting politics in the M3 thread.

1) There is absolutely no relevance to what Scott said to this thread. None. At least with F1 there is *some* relevance.

2) I've said it many, many times, I don't think politics should be allowed anywhere on the forum, but if someone is going to talk about it I'm certainly going to stand up to other people spouting their views.

There is a politics section to this forum where Scott can post to his heart's content, yet he consistently ignores that and pollutes non-political threads like this, and somehow *I'm* the problem?

My point is you don't seem to have problem with politics. But with certain side of politics. And, again, I'm just basing it on my own interactions with you.

But happy to be proven wrong.

I have my settings so that the politics section isn't even visible to me. Ask a mod if you don't believe me, assuming they can see that. There's a reason you can do that, and I've taken it. I don't think politics should be on a car forum. People don't come here for that, and I shouldn't have to read it. What more do you want to be "proven wrong"?

Just because YOU'VE been political on a regular thread, and then I've chosen to counter-argue, it doesn't mean I "want to discuss politics". It's quite a simple concept to grasp, and you're not a stupid person, Sky, so let's just leave it at that.

By the way: What do you guys think about the black accented lower skateboard design of the G8x? I saw a thread at bimmerpost, where a member had painted those lower side skirts skateboard running around the vehicle in body paint color ... I'm undecided, what I prefer ...

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
