M3/M4 [Official] 2021 BMW M3 and M4 [G80 & G82]

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M

My take(s):

Rear skirt/diffusor overdone-as are the front wing vents (is that back trim piece really necessary ?). Body-colored rocker skirts/front skirt splitters would look more attractive.

Otherwise, the M3 sedan is not bad looking at all.

It gets better and better as days pass.

Honestly, jokes aside, we only see this kind of daring design in BEV’s nowadays. This car has made headlines all around the world. Probably the most talked about car this year. The amount of advertisement and social media presence this car has (good and bad) is outstanding.

Can anyone explain the radar on the right grille in the M3? It features on some cars then it’s absent on others.

Blacked out the lower grill surround -

Maybe? get a black one, black out everything, squint really hard while walking toward it head on, have a really light breakfast, no half boiled eggs. And maybe, just maybe.
I think the two tone scheme suits the front and I wouldn't be surprised if a meaningful number of buyers will wrap the front bumper to relocate this steampunk look.

I like it and wouldn't be surprised if some M8 Coupe owners will trade down to the xDrive variant of this car.

They trashed the best looking car in that segment. What are the chances they'll also trash the ordinary 3 series with the facelift? Pretty big I'm afraid.

I really don't understand how the designers get away with creating such ugly designs.

Preferred the premium matte carbon trim and matte finish buttons layout on MT6 as compared to glossy tacky buttons layout (with M3/M4 decal) on the ZF shift. G8x is already bold enough with its front facia, no need to emphasize it on the center console! The iDrive controller on the MT6 is also nicely positioned which allowed manual stick to stay centered. Would go with MT6 this time if BMW does not update the glossy buttons in future LCI!

BMW M-Performance options or stock should offer dark metal version of edge trim around A/C and two side of center console to blend it in with darker color trim options.

Speaking of A/C, please include a simple A/C toggle button so that we don't need to ask BMW voice assistance or press multiple level of iDrive menu each time!

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
