M3/M4 [Official] 2021 BMW M3 and M4 [G80 & G82]

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M

The looks of the M3/4 work best as a wagon. It’s like it was designed first then the sedan , convertible and coupe followed.

One of the most desirable cars right now.

If only this "cheap" transition between the rear door and the extruded fender didn't exit ... this cost-cutting measure, to get away with the same rear door as the non-M-siblings of the sedan/touring, hurts the impression a bit.
So - I could only agree with you in case BMW had adapted rear for the M3 sedan/touring.

Quite a cool video if you like this sort of thing...and robots!
BMW G80 and G81 production line.
NB. the BMW M3 content is just over 8 minutes long. It then switches to the same process building for the i7 for another 8 minutes if that interests anyone.

Seems the launch for the M3 Touring was Regional rather than International. Surprising since the M3 Touring is globally significant, even though it’s not a globally marketed car.
How significant? It’s managed to be accepted outside the Casino in Monaco. Normally the reserve of Rolls-Royce’s,Bentley’s and sport and hyper cars.

I am struck by the rough orientation of the settings in which most of the videos present it so far, Snow and mountains, dirt roads and dusty suburban areas, (with the exception of a video of BMW on the track), the rest seems to want to position it as an option to powerful SUVs to get off the road for a while but have more fun

Brilliant analysis there. Definitely not suitable for transporting glassware. Just think how many trips to IKEA you will now be able to avoid. And no more Meatballs:D:wtf:

Aren't those normal conditions for practical family car or a daily sports car?

I think this Manhart M4 being black is part of the reason ... and btw the CS&CSL kidneys aren't far off.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
