M3/M4 [Official] 2021 BMW M3 and M4 [G80 & G82]

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M

I responded by showing you it was from the press release
From there I took the photo, I was surprised to see it because I did not expect it so soon, my previous post is anecdotal in a sarcastic tone in case it is not clear

Carbon fibre bonnet.

A new option for a very special form of factory customization is now available for the BMW M4 Coupé (G82): the "M graphic, high-gloss black finish"

Will be included as a regular option in the special equipment range as part of the model update for summer 2022 and has also been available in the online configurator at bmw.de for a few hours. In view of the required contrast, the M graphic is not available in conjunction with a Sapphire Black paint finish, but can certainly be ordered as a dark eye-catcher on a vehicle in Dravite Gray or Skyscraper Grey.

Seriously?, since I don't know how to read, I only look at the photos

Sam Cooke said: "Don't know much about the Middle Ages-I look at pictures and I turn the pages..."

I took math lessons from John Lennon. "One an' one an' one is three...".

And yes who are you to say so?

He has an arbitrary idea of what weight's acceptable based on having raced a number of BMW's in the past, including, I believe, an M235i Racing for Walkenhorst, an E92 M3 GT4 on multiple occasions, E46 M3 "GTR"'s (of unestablished provenance), an E87 130i Cup car, as well as a 997 GT3 Cup car, and... a Dacia Logan, I believe. e: Rallies an E30 M3 also.

Oh i understand, but the new CSL is in the same weight balance as the E92 M3 GTR

but the new CSL is in the same weight balance as the E92 M3 GTR

GTS?

FWIW I don't think it'll be that light, the rumoured 100kg weight saving puts it only halfway between an M4 Comp and an E92 M3 GTS.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
